For several reasons I admire JM. He's selfless, he can do anything for his team members, supportive, loving, caring and he's everything a leader should be. And most importantly I freaking love the way Suho and Sehun are (I'm being completely biased here) they are more like a real family more than two strangers who met and work under a team. I can see that bonding with each and every member, to be honest. They aren't just EXO, they are a family. That takes a lot of effort and selflessness to build such a strong bond. EXO being a family is the first thing I noticed after I started seeing their off stage stuff. That's one of the reason EXOLs are still with EXO. Because I not sure with so little promotions, personal interactions and members' contents any other fandom would stay as strong as EXOLs are. SeHo is my fav bond followed by SuBaek. Not like I ship them. I love them. ❤️

Regarding Baekhyun, I see him more like a balance between a baby and a father to EXOLs. He's adorable.

For me he will forever be a baby and I don't really want to see mature baekhyun. I know he is serious and mature but the kind of hatred and behavior they are subjected to, him being ignorant happy kid is the best thing.

For many reasons, JC behaved like a political leader seeking the favour of other upper hands to retain his position/power or whatever. They said WWX is evil, he took his side once, twice and boom he dumped WWX the other. Here I really felt like WWX and JC are friends/business partners and not brothers who grew up together. If, and only if Yanli was there, there might be some changes in his behavior but anyhow JC is who JC is. He's capable of building an empire, fighting but he's not a better man with relationships be it with Wen Qing or with WWX.

JC was plain dumb. If he ever bothered about thinking practically he would have noticed the weapon he had with him. JC would have easily ruled everyone without really needing any favors from anyone.

Yanli would have played the role of communication bridge nothing else as her presence didn't stop JC from abandoning WWX. JC was no kid he was aware how people were against WWX yet he left WWX alone to suffer. I don't resent him but I can never like JC. He is relatable character but not likable.

For me the worst part was him not being able to mend his relationship with WWX after knowing what scarifies WWX made for him. If only he could take one step towards WWX, WWX would have embraced him with open arms as WWX never help JC accountable for his sufferings even his death.

I felt so bad for WQ. She just wanted to save her people and she never harmed anyone even for protected her people. She did not deserve the end she met.

Yanli is one of the best fictional characters. She makes me want someone like her to spoil me. I really loved the way she saw WWX every time, such warmth ❤️ Maybe she wanted to see him and ask him personally about the incident. She would have not believed that WWX killed her husband in spite of knowing his dislike towards him. She believed that her brother might do anything but not kill the father of her child. Damn, she's one selfless character. Yess, I got past that part already. You can never imagine, I am reading like a crazy person and if I pull an all-nighter today I might even finish the book. You were right, LWJ never left WWX's side after he came back. I loved the way MXTX left them alone from time to time in the novel. I think we did not get this in TGCF as someone will be always there third-wheeling 🤣 speaking of which the second soul shifting between Wind Master and Xie Lian was hilarious 🤣 TMI! TMI!

I feel drama was not able to do proper justice to LWJ's feelings. May be the way LWJ's character is its possible to read it from third person's view and understand which is not possible in dramas.

TGCF was disappointing only in this part. To add to my misery I read TGCF after MODC. I was expecting some action after reading MODC. Silly me!🤪

I really loved how deep and sensual MXTX made both the characters Hua Cheng and Lan Wangji (I will definitely read the other book but I have 5 friend suggestion and Book 2 of 2HA to finish. I can't disappoint them 😭). Their love is a fire. It gives warmth, strength and also the destroying one when they fail to protect their significant others. I am such a sucker for this passion. (I sound creepy, right? Ok lemme stop here)

Yes. After reading about these two characters only I realize why people say silent lovers' love have more intensity and passion. They had so many similarities as well as dissimilarities like HC was exceptional with communication and LWJ was well you know. He would rather stay quite than waste his energy in speaking. 😆

More than that they will marry and will come and say they want to marry EXO in the next life as they got married in this one. Like seriously, what of EXO come and say I will come and marry you in the next lifetime, this time I found my wife. 🤣 🤣 I want DO to say this now.

In the end, he was nothing but a man with a foreign core running in his veins and a kingdom without a single soul he could claim his family.

LWJ's feelings were better on the pages than the screen. I agree 3rd POV did some magic here. BTW I really liked how LWJ is so protective of Wu Xian. I witnessed in the drama as well but in the book, it's more evident. He wants to protect Wu Xian... what I liked here is, it did not turn into some creepy possessive lover types but LWJ knows what WX is capable of, he let him play and stood there silently. IMO this is one healthy relationship. Because I've read few overrated books where the male lead goes over-possessive slash protecting and that somehow cuts the independence of the female lead and the readers romanticize it as well.

Yes he is self aware but at the same time so selfless. He has so much potential which was even more evident with his solo album but when it comes to EXO people just see him as leader and are somehow less appreciative of his talents. I sometime feel so bad for him. He is the leader of the group where every single member is super talented including him but he never tries to take anyone else's limelight. He's aware that he is the least hyped member of EXO comparatively but he never gets jealous of other member's popularity. In fact he makes sure to hype everyone. Agree. But I feel people will come around. The news was kind of out of the blue so some negative reactions were expected. The reaction was too extreme but I don't know why I have a feeling that most of the fan who are right now against Chen will come around in some time. I really hope they do. With EXO's enlistments and contract expiry on the way, we all need to support EXO with everything possible.

Yes, WQ's character deserved little more plot and character engagement. She was a great leader. She kept her people together as long as she could but its better in a away that she died early. I don't think she would have survived seeing her entire clan being slaughtered.

JC I feel never valued people enough in his life. Apart from his immediate family he never bothered about anyone. In fact he didn't even have any friends at the end of it. Also I feel he was able to achieve lot of things because of WWX's core. WWX's core of one of most powerful one so it was obvious it could take JC places which it did.

LWJ is over protective and hell possessive as well. You will be able it catch few instances from the book where he was jealous of every living thing who would touch WWX. WWX being a ignorant flirt made things worst many a times.🤓

Yes LWJ was never obsessive. He tired to chide and stop WWX before his death but since WWX came back from death it was as like WWX can slaughter entire town for fun and LWJ won't say a single word to him. We see a proper whipped version of LWJ post WWX's reincarnation.

Yes it was frustrating at a times. There were times when HC's feelings was palpable and exceptions went high automatically but nothing really happened.🤔 HC is not innocent BTW. In case of LWJ, it was better to show how LWJ was less talkative as WWX talked like hell. WWX could talk entire day and still won't get tired so his partner had to be a listener. HC and XL are pretty balanced. They are neither too talkative nor too quite. HC knowing little was biggest joke of the entire book.🤣

From what I have gathered, Xiumin was one of the most popular member of EXO since start. He still is. JM was mostly in limelight till 2014 happened and he had to endured all the stress of getting the group together, apologizing for something he was not even responsible for and what not. I think it was during this time the focus shifted from JM as a singer/dancer to a strong leader. It could be because people actually saw how strong and amazing leader he was and since than the first thing people think about JM is either EXO leader of EXO mom. Apart from JM I never read or saw any kind of issues with hype as a talent. For JM I think its because he is such a fine example as leader that seeing past it becomes impossible. From all the things I have seen and researched so far, I feel Sehun was given less spotlight as a talent. I can understand being the youngest he needed more grooming and he is now finally getting recognition for his work. Glad EXO established itself firmly in all these years because seeing the recent SM behavior I don't think they will do any promotions for any EXO work.

I agree that superstars won't be superstars without fans but fans need to understand that they won't be fans if there isn't anyone worth following and admiring. This kind of toxic arrogance I have noticed in only kfans. Kfans are stupid and I feel EXO should stop worrying about them. WWX was ballsy and he had all the rights to spew nonsense actually. I mean the man was not just gorgeous he was super talented and brave. If you ask me I loved his bragging a lot and he was witty as hell.

LWJ deserve award for his patience. WWX is not easy to handle and tame. He was too free spirited to follow the rules. WWX did not change till end but LWJ the guy with rules broke many rules to make WWX happy. The things we do for love.😆

He was innocent for sure. His way of cultivation required him to stay celibate so he never even though about anything of this sort until HC of course. If you are into fantasy books I would suggest to either start with 'Strange the dreamer' or 'six of crows'. Six of the crows is kind of my all time fav. Its lead character Kaz is brilliant. He is the mastermind you see.😎 If you start any of them one advice, don't give up on them. It will be kind of boring in start with all the terminologies and plot adjustments but one you get hang of everything you will be right into it.

Wen Qing was drowned in guilt when she knew her brother was the one who caused the death. Maybe she might have known that Ning might be manipulated.... but whatever she's courageous and will not bow down that easily. I am not sure if she knew that he was manipulated, either way that was shown in the drama. In the book it was WWX who was not able to control wen ning and WN killed to protect WWX as he was not in his own control. Stygian seal increased triggered his killing intent to the point where WN went totally out of control. One of the reason WWX never wanted to use stygian seal again was due to its impact. Even if he was the creator, the seal was not in his control entirely. So in a way WWX was responsible for JZ's death.

Yes I just wish she was alive. Her death only increased the baggage WWX was carrying. Even if he used to act happy and all deep down even he considered himself responsible for what happened at lotus pier. Surprisingly he was never vocal about this stuff not even with LWJ.

Queen and the emperor as well. The emperor was such a pathetic womanizer. The only good thing he did was saving XF. He was not loyal to flower immortal as well. All the other relationships apart from leads were so twisted and messed up. I wanted to just skip through them but they were part of the plot so had to endure it. But the leads' story was so cute. Clueless girl and a badass no-nonsense war lord, what an amazing pair! It was pretty well made show in terms of leads' story. I really loved it.

He even fought and injured his own sect members to save WWX. I can imagine WWX being lost and LWJ trying to get him back to normal at burial mounds after nigthless night fight. That scene I wish was explained a bit more. I can't even imagine LWJ's pain. He wasn't even there when JC and the group killed WWX. 😭

I guess at start XL actually trusted this method of spiritual energy transfer but later he got hang of it and used it as an excuse to kiss HC. XL melting for HC was quite similar to WWX melting for LWJ.

HC is supreme in terms of being patience as well. He waited for 800 damn years, yearning for XL yet never made any hasty move towards XL. Kudos to the author for presenting it so beautifully. HC was not only his lover but a devotee to XL too so it was necessary to show certain amount of respect and reverence towards XL and the author did such a splendid job at that.👏

What else can we do either way. Sometimes I feel the authors leave out such details so that readers can explore it with their own through process and experiences mostly because even if its author's story and characters not necessarily author can justify everything.

Like in Gone with the Wind, I cannot for the life of me relate to scarlet. I can't understand her selfishness, her obsession with ashley. Same with Catherine from wuthering heights. At least catherine was well aware that Healthcliff in a very beautiful and painfully twisted way necessary for her to exists. These books and many more left me reeling and in questions. It happens so often that I go back and dig deeper, try reading between the lines to understand why things had to happen the way they happened.💔

The actor seemed good and his acting was also on point thats the reason we hated him. I too never like pu chi. Although I did not like Sui He either, the way things ended for her that left me wondering if she really deserved it. Yes, she did bad things but she never ever tried to hurt XF. In fact, she was one of the reason XF was able to come back. She made sure that his body was safe. She lost so much of her spiritual power for that. All this she was doing while she was not in power. XF could have just jailed her or worst killed her rather than abandoning her like that.

So what did he like? Did he like WWX not respecting the rules? Did he like WWX's brilliant swordsmanship or his rebellious attitude or his guts or just his beauty? I wish I knew answers for all these questions.

HC was hell of manipulative person. He never wish any harm or wrong to XL but that doesn't mean he never took advantage of XL's blind trust and innocence. Honestly speaking more than HC I feel happy for XL. XL went through so much for just being nice, for just wanting to save common people. HC at least had a goal but XL lost everything and still did not give up. XL deserved someone like HC who would treat him like God literally. Even without ascension XL truly deserved to be a God.

Yes, Allen's first on-screen kiss was with Yang Zi 😆 fans were hyping so much about this. And also I read on Twitter that the duration of their intense chemistry for Allen is only with Yang Zi. Can you imagine?? I literally went out to watch Sweet Dreams of Allen to confirm it. Probably that was one of the bad decision I made as the show had a poor storyline with amazing actors in it.

IKR... I just enjoyed Luo Yunxi's acting when I saw the show for the second time. But my hatred towards Pu Chi and Sui He never lessened 🤣 Sui He is an important character but her evilness killed her position to reconcile or to repent and join the team towards the end. Just like the nIght Immortal she could have taken over her tribe, build it from scratch or something like that. Anyhow the story balanced her sacrifice and Jin Mi's sacrifice.
