I don’t think it’s probable because Rishi Durvasa was an ansh of Mahadev. Also, if it’s acceptable than why hide it?

It seems to me that kids born out of wedlock, from sages aren’t frowned upon.

It's not acceptable tbh. Shantanu was never told about Satya's tryst with Parashara.

Satya was a fisherman's daughter. Kunti was a princess and she naturally would be married to a king/prince. She specifically chose Pandu in the Swayamvar IMO because she knew where Karna was or kept track.

About Kavach Kundala - This is something I have my theories about and some scholars also suggest different things, that is cutting out the divinity. If you are interested I can share them in the post next as per my knowledge. I personally don't see things from divine angle because I consider much of the epic as history.

Surya Dev - well if you take words literally as Gods and goddesses that's different but technically a prince from the Surya Vansh can very well be referred to that way.

If you cut out the divinity, all of this will make more sense.

Draupadi was not just anyone in her past life, she was Nalayani. Her husband is said to have obtained moksha and had authored one of the upanishads.

Also, I feel that Mahabharata is a product of vows, boons and curses so we can’t separate the two.

These curses, boons etc are again, divine. You may want to believe that, that's faith and personal choice. I am only saying I don't buy these theories of everything having a past life connect or some divine intervention. Unless you provide a logical explanation, all this seems normal fiction added by sages and poets and bards over ages to glorify these royal people and turn them into demigods.

In reality, I strongly believe they were normal people who lied, who made mistakes, who had lusts, greed and desires and they had normal births and normal deaths. Gods didn't come and bless them with children and some past birth is not the reason for what their actions mean.

🤣🤣🤣Ohhh god! Was it shown in SP MB???

Each to their own, but if you get a chance you should read the Upanishads you will get a shock at the knowledge they contain. It’s not possible without being spiritually awakened so these things will make more sense to you even Mark twain was shocked.

Rishi Parashar was a great astrologer, he has even written how to find out how many lamps will burn when a child is born and it really works! They were no ordinary persons.

There's a suggestive theory of Karna's case being the same - that he was actually Durvasa's son from Kunti and Kunti was either forced or she too did the same as Satya, sex hospitality.

If you see it from a non divine angle, it's very probable.

They tried to draw that parallel in the Ranbir movie Rajneeti where his mom had an affair with her mentor and gave birth to Ajay Devgan's character.
