DP basically includes almost all folktales (do have a close look at the footnotes) and versions and tries to narrate his tale. He did add spice, but he doesn't pour white milk or blacken out good characters or change their main deeds which I appreciate😆

Yes, I noticed this. He mentions his source in footnotes & they are long lists of local versions & folktales. He even included that Jambu fruit incident with Draupadi 😆😆

I haven't yet finished it, but Karn's introduction was pretty whitewashed imo. Pattnaik too is a seller of the humiliated Suta Putra theory.

It seems im the only one shipping off shaheer and pooja😆 Idk if you guys were during the first telecast, but 70℅ of the people here shipped them SO HARD that it was at edge of lunacy😆 In fact we had opened an entire THREAD based on ONE pic of shaheer-pooja during star parivaar. And their tour to indonesia.... Mannn... Forget about it🤣 stalk the forum a bit and u'll know the amount craze that went over shaheer-pooja😆

To be honest I really didn't like the part where Draupadi insulted karn... What karn said (in the show) was valid. If she didn't want to marry him, she could've just denied. No one was asking for reasons. And on top that when Krishna SUPPORTED it hurt me a bit more. They did real mess up there.

In actual Mahabharata, Draupadi doesn't insult Karn. In fact Karn could not string the bow & hence was unsuccessful in the task given. So Draupadi didn't need to reject him anyway. He was disqualified.

In SP they decided to show this event, I don't remember the scene in very details, but I think Dhristadyumna mentions that the kshatriya who is able to perform the task.... Karn was not kshatriya, so he didn't qualify to participate in the first place. Moreover he came as Duryodhan's sidekick. I think that also disqualifies him. Duryodhan was qualified to participate, not Karn since Karn wasn't formally invited. And since the swayamvar task was kind of a competition & Draupadi was sort of prize....if she is disqualifying him, she had to state the reason I guess. If she just said "thehro! Main tumse vivah nahi karungi!", the very next question would have been "parantu kyun?" & the situation would have been the same😆

And SP didn't do any mess up 😆 It's tv serial creative team's lifelong mission to whitewash Karn & present him as someone holier than thou who just gets tortured & tortured by everyone😆 So it was very deliberate on SP's part. No mess up I assure you 😆

When the Gandharavas saw they might lose, they took hold of Duryodhan & disappeared in sky😆😆 But Arjun had celestial weapons & could even fight with hidden enemies (shabdvedi vaan), so he defeats them anyway & freed the Duryodhan & co and Yudhistir let them go.

Arjun humiliated Karn by upping him in archery & winning over the same Gandharvas who had defeated Karn & Yudhistir humiliated Duryodhan by letting him leave (i.e, showing generosity). So Duryodhan jo karne nikle the....uska ulta karke wapas aaye 😆😆

Absolutely enjoyin this mahabharat thoroughly enjoyed the first telecast.. But this time they are fast forwarding a lot and sometimes cutting essential scene

Madhav is my favourite

Karna arjun next fav

Absolutely adore karna arjun scenes and the trio krishna karna arjun scenes

True. Even now Pooja was being constantly asked about Shaheer in her live and interview😳

I like them together as ArDi but am a complete PooRabh stan.
