Who do you think is the most unlucky among them? Popular opinion says Karna, but not putting any poll because want to hear the reasons and discuss. Do share your views.

For me, I think it was definitely Bhishma.

For me almost all the main characters are unlucky be it karna or Pandavas or Draupadi except dury and shaku mama.

Karna-He always wanted this recognition of best archer and respect(didn't got due to Hastinapur's internal politics)

but he got it at the end and in his this struggle he made many mistakes or should I say sins.

Pandavas-They were from royal family but were made to live in forest and in constant threat of death but one thing was good that they got respect (except of their cousins) and the foremost support of God.

Draupadi-A princess but made to walk on thorns both physical and metaphorical. The daughter-in-law whose honour was tried to be stripped off.

One thing to be noted is that all of them emerged out of their problem and played their role very well.(except Yudi with whom I have my reservations)

Now more than them I feel bad for the soldiers and their family who had no role in this political drama of Hastinapur but were made to suffer its effects(may be due to their past deeds) and who can forget rajmata Uttara, abhimanyu, ghatotkach and upapandavas(I include them in soldier category not of royal family).

I think the term unlucky would be a misfit in cases of Bhishma and others.

Unlucky is something I'd associate with Duryodhana...in a humorous way ofcourse. 😃🤣

For example, genius went to execute an evil scheme in Ghosha Yatra but ended up getting captured and suffered humiliation after getting rescued by the very men he intended to harm. 🤣

Actually I meant unlucky as in someone who always had good intentions but faced misfortune. This guy deserved what he got. 😋😋

I got the joke though 😂😂😂 Virata War too is so funny. 🤣

I consider those who have to live as more unlucky than those death gift with the freedom from suffering. :)

Draupadi, Bheeshma, Karna are the ones who are the unluckiest or I would say have faced a lot of grief and pain also quite strong.

Abhimanyu too, I mean his killing was the most tragic and Uttara too who lost everyone

Many are unlucky in their own ways... But to chose one, I would say Draupadi. Made to reside in forests due to her husband's folly, dragged in court and humiliated for no fault of hers, losing all her sons in the war and finally dying in the mountains without anyone by her side.

Yes, still she emerges as the strongest female and the heroine of the epic, but I do think she was unlucky in many respects.
