Idk why, but I really like this scene. It's probably because I miss this look of Kunal's (see the second tweet in the thread):

This one has my whole heart I love how the creator used scenes only from the pre-wedding period!
I love pre-wedding Kunal because he didn't even know how smitten he was at that point. So cute he was!
The only drawback was his conservative views.
I have a request for an OS if anyone can write it, or just even what you guys think. This is basically a "What if".
Do you guys remember when Kunal had wanted to get Mishti's eye operation done and then she didn't get it done? He was so furious and as he was leaving from MH, Kuhu comes there angrily and tries to stop him. So, what if Kuhu had taken a leave and Kunal wouldn't have been able to fire her? What if she gets to say whatever she came to say?
What do you people think she would say?

Ugghhh just thinking about that makes me cringe so hard. I remember wondering why Kuhu liked him so much, considering all the crap he pulled with Mishti when they were in the courtship phase. He really has come a long way.

Oooohh I like this one. Someone please write it!! I could try, but I don't know if I'd be able to do it well.
another parallel with a wonderful caption❤️
Update:
The questions have been sent. Will let you guys know if there's a response.
thank you so much dear🤗
once again thanks for taking the initiative, compiling & sending👏👍🏼
@aqua: Thanks for the feedback on the VM! I was trying something slightly different so I totally see what you are saying. I chose scenes more for how well the fit the theme rather than how well they fit the music which probably accounts for the mismatching.
I am totally with you on taking a step back from the Insta fandom. I think because there isn't any new content, the fandom is saturated with VMs and edits and I had to take a deep breath and remind myself that just because I can make VMs now, doesn't mean I have to keep churning them out. I created that account mostly for an easy way to share my stuff on this AT, and I have to keep remembering that original intention. 😛
@Meera and Aqua: The courtship storyline with Mishti is probably the one that scapegoated Kunal the most, when really, it was just a case of incompatibility and poor communication/comprehension from both sides. Once again the manipulative writing went out of the way to make Kunal look like a regressive misogynist -- and I bought it in real time -- but then when I went back and watched some of those episodes, I really started to see his side of the story.
His issue with Mishti working wasn't an abstract issue with women working in general, but his own desire to be the provider his father hadn't been and to heal his family by having the "normal" life that his mom couldn't have. Like he told Abir later, it wasn't even that he couldn't be convinced but he put himself out there by sharing his feelings on the subject with Mishti (even broaching the sensitive topic of his absentee dad) and from his vantage point, she didn't even feel the need to dignify him with a response or a proper discussion before she went and did exactly what he didn't want. Of course, this was partly Meenu's fault because she cut off Mishti's attempts at communication, but also showed a fundamental incompatibility betwee the two.
And with the eye surgery, I think what he did was a little dense and tactless but not necessarily sexist. The thing is, if it was Kuhu in Mishti's position, she would have snapped back immediately, told him to his face that he was an arrogant jerk, and that he should be so lucky to be with a girl like her, glasses or not. He would have probably understood and apologised, and the issue would have been closed there. What made this such a big deal was that Mishti made it a whole dharam-sankat and then finally chose to announce her decision to him in front of both families. In fact, all her major communication with him was in front of the families rather than with him directly, and that's precisely what got under his skin. Both Kunal and Mishti are too much in their own heads -- they justify their actions by how it fits with an abstract set of principles rather than how it makes other people feel, and this can have the unfortunate side effect of self-absorbtion. They need partners like Kuhu and Abir (who operate almost solely on emotion) to shake them out of their own heads and yank them into the real world of real consequences.
In my view, there isn't anything fundamentally wrong with the husband Kunal wanted to be but Mishti was the wrong girl to be that husband for because she found the life he was offering very suffocating. Meenu knew this and she was trying her level best to exploit it to break the rishta. What she didn't bargain for was just how desperate BM was to marry off Mishti, how much pressure Mishti would feel to ignore her own feelings and try to make it work with Kunal, and how much pressure Kunal felt not to let his family down again. Her plan barely worked after she put in way more effort than she thought she would have to.
also when kunal came to know that mishti was working with abir, he was totally fine with that, infact he even said something like:
'main koi 70s ka villian thode na hun jo mujhe aurton ke job karne par objection ho'
'yadi bhai aap ke saath kaam kar rahi hai wo, toh fir toh koi tension ki baat hi nahi hai'
'mujhe chinta nahi rahegi ki pata nahi kaise logon ke saath kaam kar rahi hogi'
so he was even worried for her safety
and then he decides to apologise/make it up to her too
and for the specs part, can someone please explain that if specs were such important part of her identity then how come she suddenly gets rid of them post leap
I mean it lost all credibility for me because it was a clear plot to show kunal negative then and now that its done & we have a new track, so writers conveniently let go of the specs in the name of '2.0 version, new & improved'
thats what I hate, no consistency

@bold: reminded me of this video and a specific comment below the video - "I absolutely hate it when movies show a girl with oily hair (sometimes substituted by frizzy hair), glasses and covered up clothes turn into a hot diva after a "makeover". I wear glasses kyunki mujhe dikhta nahi hai bhaiya not to suit your 'shy girl who just needs a saving' narrative."
