Out of 600000 version 300000 lakh verse is narrated by narad muni in devlok

300000 lakh is first edition

Then second edition contains 150000 verse out of 600000 which was narrated to pitralok and so on

I will suggest to read introduction part of geeta press

First of all, I think you are seeing the text with complete divine interventions and magic that is talks of. I personally don't and don't think many here are. This Ganesha story has been also spread later on, many scholars confirm that. The story was not written by Vyasa, it was only NARRATED by him. It was written down much, much later so it was transmitted orally for many generations and it is very much possible here to have many interpolations. I am not forcing you to stop seeing things in divine supernatural light, but if you do a lot of things get clear and the story makes alot of sense.

I am also saying that vedvyas did not write Mahabharata but it is actually written by Lord ganesh

Vedvyas was dictating Mahabharata to Lord ganesh and Lord ganesh was writing

And for more details please check my 2nd comment on 4 the page

Let me more thing clear ved vyas compose Mahabharata he didn't not narrate Mahabharata in fact he was dictating to Lord ganesh

There is difference between narration and compose

He didn't not narrated to Lord ganesh. He was dictating to Lord ganesh

There is difference between narration and dictation

Vedvyas compose and dictate Mahabharata

And vaishampayne student of vedvyas narrated Mahabharata

Vedvyas was author of Mahabharata, 18 puran Jaya geeta shreemadh bhagwat so nothing is ignored by me

But yes vedvyas is author of Mahabharata is certain being ignore and just giving wrong information that vedvyas did not write Mahabharata he only write Jaya and wrong information that Bharat is written by vaishampayne to proove their point any how

And it is also ignored that after vedvyas dictate Mahabharata to Lord ganesh and after that

It was first narrated by student of vaishampayne in earth in snake sacrifice to janemeye and after that Mahabharata narrated by many people for many years

And why should I accept that thing which I never read anywhere and why should I accept that thing which is never meant in any source

And in authentic book .geeta press Mahabharata book it is clearly written that vedvyas is author of Mahabharata but that is also ignored

And also it is not written in Wikipedia that vaishampayne write 240000 verse of Mahabharata .

It is written vaishampayne recited Bharat 24000 verse he did not write 24000 verse which is called Bharat

Vaishampayne was only narrator of Bharat . He is not author of Bharat

And ugrasrava narrated 100000 verse no where he is writer of 100000 verse

Both vaishampayne and ugrasrava are only narrator , both are not author of any part whether it is jaya , Bharat and Mahabharata

Author of Mahabharata ,jaya and Bharat is only one that is vedvyas

And let it clear that is

Mahabharata is longest epic with 200000 verse written by vyas and longest epic Mahabharata book with over 100000 verse is divide in to three edition

1 st edition with 8220 verse is called jaya

2nd edition with 24000 verse is called Bharat

And finally third with 0ver 100000 or 200000 verse is called Mahabharata

Jaya, Bharat and Mahabharata author is same that is vedvyas . Only thing is Mahabharata is divided into three edition with certain number of version and called by different name

One can check information in Mahabharata Wikipedia under heading textual history and structure

And I think this part was also ignored

Anyways
