Voh toh almost sab Indian movies ka hota hai. However the film despite being a huge hit had its flaws.
Yeah that’s true

Yeah KKHH I would understand as it was an entertaining film but the story was quite senseless 😂.... but DDLJ is generally well loved outside this forum
True the movie was enjoyable but it had so many plot holes like how was Angali able to read her mom’s letters since she was born plus Rahul was very unlikable at times in the movie

Yes! So many loopholes... the most obvious one being why tf would Tina entrust a little kid to get her dad with Anjali 🤣!? And how could she be so sure that Anjali wouldn't have already married someone else??
And earlier on in the movie not only Rahul but even Tina was unlikeable...in fact while Rahul seemed pretty much oblivious to Anjali liking him, Tina caught on to it but proceeded to date and marry Rahul herself anyway!
Plus if Rahul loved Anjali all along why did he wait some 10 years to track her down under the guidance of his CHILD??

I wanna know what they were having when they wrote the script lol! Whites want our complexion while we want theirs...matlab kuch bhi.
Yeah lol it is glaringly obvious many BW movies set abroad that they didn't bother to do much research....
Actually tbh aside from accents (and that awful edited scene) DDLJ wasn't too bad in it's portrayal of how desis in the UK actually are imo, which is one of the things I like about it!
Voted for KKHH... I never got the hype about that film. Since I was a young child when the film released I used to put myself in Choti Anjali's place and keeps on wondering how a 7-8 year old could be so mature emotionally...also what type of a mother will put such a mature responsibility on a young child. After I grew up found more loopholes and unlikeable things from KKHH.
I hated DTPH back then because my mother was obsessed with the film to the point that it was the only album and film that regularly get played in my house for a period of time. 😆

My experience has been terrible. I have seen Indians who work at convenience stores having akad of Ambani level when they return to India. I am not insulting any jobs, in fact i believe in dignity of labour. But the way these guys look at any Indian in India who is working at a so called better position (like software engineer or HR) is laughable. Esp when they show off their pounds in front of everyone.
He is ugly and pretty average from all standards. Doesn’t look like a Bollywood hero material at all. I’m pretty sure he will flop within 2...
