Also, I saw Ritvik's live. It was super short and they didn't repeat most of the questions. Thank God!! The things I can recall right now are:

1. He has around 15-20 hoodies. Can he wear clothes according to the weather here?? I know it's his life but it's so annoying because I know ki yahaan thand nahi hai and bande ko dekh kar hi garmi lagne lagti hai. Nope! I didn't mean it in the other sense.

2. The easiest person to prank is Kaveri. Apparently, she gives her phone to the makeup artist when she shoots because women's clothing doesn't have pockets *Me is annoyed. Me wants pockets* so he takes the phone behind her back and hides it to annoy her.

3. The only thing he has wanted to change/edit in the KuKu storyline is that he wanted Kuhu and Kunal to say "I love you" before they got intimate in the humma humma sequence. Bada hi sanskaari ladka hai ye to.

I know Ritvik has done more live interviews ever since you posted this, but I wanted to thank you for the update.

@bold: I am actually glad that they didn't say I love you before the Humma Humma sequence because it would have been way too rushed. And lol at the sanskaari ladka comment.

I watched the clip later and found it really cute that he thought there should have been a verbal affirmation of love before physical intimacy #RitvikTheSanskaariMunda 😆

@bold: I totally second your feelings! I also kind of understand the way Mishti's character has been written, her way of trying to solve a problem is how she would deal with it. I was watching the 1st episode (for reasons you already know) and the scene where she says "Agar Ketki ki life me koi badi maa jaisi hai to main use bhi unhe hurt karne nahin dungi". She doesn't get that she doesn't have the authority to make decisions for other people, even when they have asked for her help.

Also, one more detail that I noticed was that she keeps the feelings of the people she loves and cares for as the focus to justify interfering in situations. Like, in this case, it was Abir. She doesn't care to see the larger perspective.

Nobody cared for his feelings during that time. How hurt and shocked he must have been!! Even Kuhu was more concerned about his anger. Ooooooh!!! Brain added another layer to the #horror scene. He was waiting up for Kuhu so he could share his feelings with her, hoping that she would inadvertently say something that would make him feel okay. #NotFairNanko

Mishti has all the makings of a fantastic character -- all her behaviour is plausibly motivated by her experiences and she's a fully fleshed out human being. The only problem is that instead of making her introspect, the story just makes her a superhero. For example, instead of her single-handedly taking Mehul down and getting endless praise for it, I would have loved if the resolution to the Mehul track was Mishti actually apologising to Meenu, Parul, and Nanu, and expressing that she was on their side in convincing Abir that his baba was no good. That tiny bit of humility would have made her character so much realer and would have given a much healthier message about how to fix your mistakes (hint: going on a solo adventure to track down a hardened criminal, stealing government documents, and not telling anyone where you are is probably not something you should try at home).

Yes! The #horror scene was definitely Kunal waiting for Kuhu to come and comfort him like she always did. I love that he was waiting up for her and I love even more that she didn't give him a seedhe muh jawab until he genuinely asked for her help. Kuhu was just such an all-round badass in this phase of the story. 😎

Meenu is hands down the most interesting character on the show, followed closely by Kuhu. So much potential there.

I am absolutely in love with both the video and the song!! The song is definitely going on my playlist. I want to emphasize on my favourite scenes because of the way they matched with the lyrics perfectly and gave a more magical feel to the video: the Champaner scene and the candle lighting and also the shaadi2.0 wink.

@bold: I have a bit of a different take. I don't really see it as the writers trying to make her a superhero. I rather see it as an insecurity that she doesn't trust anyone enough to ask for help or share her problems, not even Abir, her BM or BP. The only times she does share is jab paani sar ke upar chala jaata hai and she has no other choice.

I miss the nayi naveli bahu Kuhu. I miss the show in general as of now🙈. Can the writers start a graphic novel or something till the time the actors can't shoot?? Everyone (the director and actors) can give inputs and a badass editor can help give us episodes. Wow! Maine to inke liye business idea taiyaar kar diya🤪

Meenu is like a puzzle who I have been unable to solve. Her character has too many shades to categorize her as a just a villian. Too interesting she is!!!🙆🏻‍♀️
