No his TV shows aired on Doordarshan 1988 he got marry 1991 Oct. when shoots of Dil Ashnaa hai was going but Deewana released first in 1992, dont know movie shot in Delhi or mumbai. But I m also reading this story first time

I believe SRK himself corroborated this story many years ago, not sure though. They went to Mumbai immediately after getting married. Probably SRK had to report to shoot. I don't think she was literally in her wedding outfit. Women dress up so much in there early days of a wedding in sarees and all.

He was a big & famous TV actor well before he got married. He was even first introduced to Gauri's parents with one of his character's names (so he had a Hindu name). In fact I think they had even partially broken up when he was on TV because Gauri didn't want him to be in the entertainment industry in Mumbai but she eventually came to terms with it.

ohhhh,,,,,my heart is breaking for my SRK and his wife.....😭 😭😳.....I mean really....😳..the guy went on to become the richest actor and the biggest superstar of BW .....that was a small price to pay.......people have to go through a lot and here we are sulking over Gauri had to wear a heavy sari and wait....OMG....how tragic....

SRK has gone through and lived through much worse than this....much worse...Imagine a 14-15 year old boy having to drive with the body of his dead father in the back seat of the car...yup that is what I feel bad for SRK......not that he was shooting on his wedding night...

The OP is a headscratcher. The story is inspiring actually not anything to break hearts over. As someone who's done the Ramen noodle and beans thing when I was starting out in my own field, I can relate very well. Yeah, my love life also took a backseat to career because I was at the beck and call of the bosses. To me, this tale says hard work and a supportive partner can take you places.

Thank God I m not only SRK fan who think this story weird, but end of story is right he should regret his decision,, the shoots were going on cant he take her next day or next schedule and ya SRK had faced so many ups and down which can make anyone feel sorrow than this

At that time ambulance doesn't mean dial 108 also phone calls are not easily available even hospitals are too far and 14-15 yr kid doesn't know what to do in such situation
