Why did Pandavas go to Lakshagraha?

I am sorry for asking these simple questions but i have really a little knowledge regarding some incidents of Mahabharat. For what purpose did Pandavas go to Varnavat along with their mother??

The Lakshagraha was made in a town called Varnavart.

Varnavart had a Shaivite celebration going on then, which was supposed to be attended by a royal family member. So, Dhrity sent Yudi, and Dury&co. took full advantage of the same. 😳
