I prefer this over people donating for PMCares. God knows what's happening with that money. This direct donation and collaboration is always more transparent. Even State Relief Funds are okay.

On topic... I'm loving that everyone is contributing to the grass root level... Money from the centre will take time to filter down... This works immediately

I'm liking these moves more than the ones donating to PMCares. This goes directly and quickly to people. Money would take time to get to them because it's probably going to be distributed to NGOs first and then they will distribute to people.

Even I contributed to a local volunteering organisation who distribute food locally. I just prefer to give it to someone, whom I can trust.

I am glad, celebrities contributing generously. Can’t understand fans who argue, “My star gave this much. How much did your star give?”

It is not a competition. Every one can give what they want, including us. We don’t have to wait for our favourites to donate something before we contribute.
