Hello Guys,

Can anyone please tell me where can I watch Sampoorn Ramayan all uncut episodes from starting till end including all luv kush episodes.

Doordarshan channel is cutting/Skipping important scenes of Ramayan and as I'm a first time viewer it get difficult to comprehend which scene or dialogue got skipped.

I tried searching YouTube but there also many videos have skipped the scenes which original telecast have.

Please help me where can I watch whole uncut version of Ramayan!

They repeated without editing today due to complaints. Yesterday they showed no convo of B-S at time of B dying and next scene dancers dancing on S coronation. It all looked so weird as if S is enjoying his brother's death.

Many episodes have been edited and re-assembled for the DVD version from Sagar studios. They cut huge portions to fit their per-DVD-size. I guess what they're airing now is that DVD version.

The full uncut version is available only with DD National, and as Surabhi mentioned, lets see if they can keep it up or we need to complain more. 😆

Right now, the only solution is, you look for deleted/extended scenes on YT after watching the epis. It's irritating yes, but currently the best solution.

Yeah, it looked really weird. If my family has not told me there are many other scenes which are missing, I would not have known!

Yaar, that's very bad of DD channel. They should show full uncut version..DVD wala se kya hota hai.

If the cast had shot them then why not include them in DVD also..

I watched yesterday missing scene in youtube there also I got to know that it was incomplete..

That's disappointing!

^when the DVD was released, they did not have enough space for the entire episodes (technological barrier), so it was edited to accommodate into episodes-based DVD sets. They just never got around to including the cut scenes in the later DVDs.

Also you would notice ke most episodes are more than 1 hour long. So, if they go about telecasting the entire episodes, with ads, it exceeds 1.5hrs. This disrupts the entire telecast schedule. Isiliye, I guess they are editing away.

Hmm, I got your point :)

But if the schedule is the problem then also they can show every detail in stipulated time and continue it in the next episode rather then cutting the scenes. Either increase the time length or no. of episodes, Like this they'll only ruin the magic of Ramayan!

^Changing the composition of episodes, like you mentioned, would take a lot of in-office editing, by taking some from the last epi, attaching it to the next one, and maintaining consistency while that, it takes a whole lot of time, even with a dedicated team working on it; currently that is obviously not the best option.

I'm sure both DD and Sagar Productions are trying their best or else they would not have agreed to repeat hain na?

Personally though, the best option would have been to not show 2 epis a day and give a dedicated 2 hour slot for one episode with more ad breaks if they were to actually show the unedited version.

I just want to watch unedited version, however they show that!!

2 hours for one episode instead of two episodes is also fine by me..

Just that as I'm a first time viewer, I might miss an essential scene and may never know about it..this is what saddens me the most!

K, wait are you following it on YT?

You try watching it from this channel:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD6I7Arh-0G5J663n49qfrsJ1HNmRV3FP

By far, these people have got the maximum of what is available, so you can skip ahead and watch the parts they've missed on TV. 😳
