Govinda jaisa dusra hai hi nahi. He had his own niche and style which no one could copy.

Sunny and Sanjay were average actors at the best and honestly, according to what I have heard, people would go to the theatres to watch a film if Govinda was in it.

Sunny and Sanjay's biggest films would have done well even if someone else played their role. But I cannot imagine another Raja Babu, Raju Coolie, Rajesh Malhotra (Hero no 1) and Dulhe Raja.

All 3 were almost equal

Folks here are trying to be revisionists. When Big B officially took a hiatus, Sanju Baba became the de facto no. 1 till 1993 (Khalnayak). After Baba went to jail, Sunny took over and dominated the 1990s as THE biggest box office superstar. Check out his openings to realize how massive Sunny Deol was in the 90s decade. Govinda was a top 5 superstar consistently in the 90s but his peak wasn't at the level of those two.

If we compare box office numbers.. Sunny is the only star to have beaten the khans.

Whose movie had more impact and will be remembered for long is definitely sunny deol with arjun, damini, ghatak etc and dialogues too will be remembered more than other stars
