I was dead tired today and then I woke up in the afternoon and it was raining. It was amazing.

Mujhe bhi pehle waisa hi laga tha. Ki shakal dikha Kar chala jayega. Par phir sach mein baarish hua, to bada accha laga.

Hey! We were turning the FF thread into a discussion one so I decided to continue the discussion here. 😆

About our discussion yesterday, I totally agree.

Yes, after all it's their hard earned money and I can't force anyone to donate it.

But my issue has been with treating the household chores as Olympian Task. Yaar! Hum sab hi to kar rahe hain! You know, usually my mother keeps on complaining that I don't help her with chores much. But one achievement during this quarantine has been, she finally realized it's possible to help when you are at home but definitely someone can't do all the work after returning home at 3:30 pm.

But the point is, everyone is at home, for safety measures our maids have also stopped coming so everyone is helping. What's the need to upload all that?

I would be lying if I say, I don't enjoy live videos of my favorites. Because it's a depressing situation. I hardly log into FB these days for this reason only. So ultimately you need some relief. It does feel great when you see your favorite for one or two minutes.

But wow! woh work out kar rahe hain! Itna kya bhav dena? Yeh uska routine hain! Kuch log to aisa hain ki favorites saans-e bhi le, to usme bhi inhe positivity dikhai dete hain. And I am solely blaming the fangirls/fanboys out there.

Attachment itni bhi unhealthy nahi hone chahiye.

As for the celebrities, people look up to you. So use that to motivate/educate people or urge them to stay at home. Isme bhi publicity karna bandh kijiye.

Well for the essay, I told and used the perfect thing of Olympics. I loved when Farah actually blasted ppl for uploading workout videos, but ofc few had audacity to bash her. She actually told for celebs, that's possibly only job and work they do but whole world has a serious issue and ppl have bigger problems, so no need to upload personal videos.

Like I saw a minute of Shantanu's live and switched it off. Seems he had also uploaded some cleaning videos on insta, and on live fans asked him for more cleaning videos, even he laughed but said, yes will put up!

I believe both have some responsibility, actors and fans! Cos people seem to go too much in what actors do, and a tiny thing is made like ultra huge! It's sick.

Yeah, true and there are professional and good videos of doing workout, which people can follow...but people are more interested in their hotness!

On a side note, no offense but way Simran/Saavi plays challenges with money is really insulting, for her benefit. Like ofc people seem okay too.

Yesterday, was just going through and she played a challenge of 200 Bucks with her sister, which she only won, so she had to not give. Plus once she played a challenge with Niyati, and the later lost and it was 2k. Considering they earn a lot, they were treating money as a small piece of chocolate. But then, I did feel ultimately money needs to be respected, it's the Goddess of wealth.

Even if it was for fun because people got bored, even that should have been in the limit. Like you said, people are more interested in the hotness and it's sick.

I don't mind when you talked about Simran. Because I said too, I am annoyed at some of my favorite actors too. Like - I watched a video of Niyati asking people to stay at home and it felt good that she was doing her social duty. But even at this hour putting weird videos on TikTok - that's totally not done.

Honestly, TikTok is one medium which I hate, really I hate it. I have never liked Simran/Sumit/Niyati's videos on TikTok in the normal situation so in a grave situation like this, I find it absolutely trashy. 😡

Exactly and totally same! You know the joke? Athletes who actually do more workouts, never put up so many videos and marketing compared to these celebs, who do all fancy things.

A total hi5 on Tik toks, I thought I was the only one who hated it. Honestly, tik toks made no sense and people go overboard, also post 4 videos, everything seems monotonous. But people love that and it's a way to increase followers, it seems.

Agree totally on the Trio, and tik toks, even in general I didn't like as I said, people over do. Also at this hour when these people make funny videos of something, which is so dangerous is highly irritating and sick! They should know where to draw the line, or atleast make normal ones, if you are so interested.

But unfortunately, whole world loves tik toks and no one criticises a wrong thing.

Don't kill me for saying this but sometimes I feel, we South Asians actually don't know where to draw the line - fans and celebrities both.

I do follow Caterina and Chris sometimes. Even the other actors also. I have never seen them going overboard. In fact, I liked one of Caterina's post where she made fun of people going overboard with Quarantine thing because staying at home, spending time with your family - that's how one's normal routine should be. Why hype it so much?

But here the way actors make everything about them and I would say the fans have started this trend - it's disgusting.

About TikTok - I know you have to think about it but at the end here's no creativity. You are just copying someone by making weird faces - it's actually degradatory and not creative. But many people like Faisu or whatsoever have made their luck out of it. 🤢

I too am happy that Harsh never participated in TikTok videos. But honestly, I didn't like his weird photos also. Because at the first glance we just watch a picture and often scroll down without reading the caption.

You wanted people to follow the lockdown. That's great. Make a video of 10 seconds or with a poster. What's with overgrown hair and beard and with weird faces? 🤔
