U Know in sindhi's community, they have a tradition of renaming the girl at the time of pheras when she gets married. My 2 frnds r sindhi's. One has changed her name and 2nd one refused to do so. She said her name is her identity. And she wont change it for anything. Her in laws were ok with that. So i think its personal choice. Even my name is very common .😃
