Agar politics hota toh Bharat would've ascended the throne without thinking twice😆
It's just the morals here that make all the difference, not even the divinity.

Ramayana doesn't discuss much about the politics we see in Mahabharata.
Treta Yuga was an even more ideal time than Dvapara Yuga.
Politics obviously existed, but Ramayana itself is not filled with that.
Ramayana mein 90% is emotional politics, everyone here takes decisions based only on strict code of conduct. And morals, as Mahi mentioned. 😳
Mahabharata too, wasn't about politics I feel. It was more about just technically exploiting dharma/vachana. Half of them were not taken in the right spirit 😆
Duh, of course I know Ramayana era was a state of utopia... I said political view not politics a decision is always a balance between ethical principle and political views, I just meant keeping divinity aside
For Eg, There's this blog I'd come across
http://kalchiron.blogspot.com/2011/04/political-genius-of-sri-rama-part-1.html?m=1
I don't think it is written about much, but if we see Ramayana, the political views of that time are there.
It toes exactly at that peak of ethical principles and the right political decision.
Dasaratha Rajya, Bharata Rajya and Rama Rajya showed that. Bharata Rajya itself is Rama Rajya only, but you know what I mean.

Ikr, but I read that article, it's really good.... I just craved for more😛
Lord Rama Avtar was meant to establish the principles of Maryada Purushottam i.e purushon mein uttam.
So Lord Ram had to do everything idealistic to establish that. He was an ideal son, brother, husband and foremost an ideal King.
So we cant say politics wasnt there in Ramayana.... it was there but ideal way to handle them . Surely the evil politics were a part of MB.
