My own brother was in live-in relationship with prior permission of my parents and he was damn serious for girl. But well! Not everything is in our hands always, she moved out because he ex returned in her life. Unfortunate!
Girl moved in with her parents permission. Although she was always confused but still bhai thought she might change her stance by being with him 24*7.

Thanks catcher. I really appreciate the fact that you shared even personal part of your life to make others understand that things do change with time and all people are not same. Yesterday, I was having similar discussion with Rati and tried to put across this point of keeping one's mind open.
The challenge is that people put their points across based on what they experience so, listening to others experience hopefully opens them up.
I still do not understand why people still take live in as a moral problem. The misconception is only kids have to do moral stuff for parents. Parents koi pagal thode hain. They put the moral restrictions so that their kids do not get hurt in society. But in the end kids happiness is always their priority. Atleast this is what I experienced with mine.
Vaise bhi live ins have been existed in bombay industry since so long. Archana Puran Singh was in live in with her husband.
And overall, I didn't find Shehnaaz's family orthodox - from what I observed over last couple of months and with what she shared.
