Its really hard for me to tell which way Kunal would lean, if Meenu was to manipulate the situation and show her true feelings about Kuhu.
Firstly, I dont think Meenu has a problem with Kuhu, I mean in the few months KuKu were married we never saw a scene where Meenu was backtalking about Kuhu or planning and plotting against her. This all started when Mishti came into picture and Meenu realized that she could get rid of both of them by using their weak relationship. To me it seems like Kuhu is collateral damage once again, because of Meenu's hatred for Mishti.
But if Kunal had to choose again it will depend on the situation. If he solely has to choose between Kuhu and Meenu, I think he would pick Meenu. But if all 4 of them are in the picture, say Meenu asks both Kunal and Abir to chose between the sisters. We kno what Abir will choose hands down and I beleive Kunal would follow suite. I would be very surprised if Kunal chose Kuhu on his own without Abir's infleunce at this point given all that has happened, that could change once new episodes air.
Edited: this is solely between Meenu and Kuhu, not the Rajvansh family or Kuhu.
Kuhu is always collateral damage and so is Kunal, and I guess that is what shapes their story and makes it more interesting. If they were to stay alone, it would become very blah! I like that they are the khandani couple😆

I have a feeling that Meenu will end up manipulating the situation in such a way that Kunal is forced to believe that Kuhu is dangerous for his family. It won't even come down to choosing between Meenu and Kuhu, but more so choosing between his feelings for Kuhu and what Meenu makes him believe is best for his family.
Yes!!
Also, Meera, the VMs were beautiful! I have to say that I am a little biased towards the 3rd one because it had all the moments where Kunal admires Kuhu and I loved seeing those

I agree with you both. I think Meenu will manipulate the situation to make it a choice between Kuhu and Abir. After all Kunal doesn't know about the pill fiasco. Maybe that'll be her last move - to reveal to Kunal that it was Kuhu who accidentally drugged his bhai..
In this situation, you don't even need to even question who Kunal will choose/support.
Oh yes!! The pill thing! Why do I keep forgetting that?? That will blow things up between these 2.

I think it has already started by this resort vacation, Kunal running off leaving Kuhu post that humma-humma sequence when his maa called, as expected he will be confronted for abandoning family & work responsibilities & going without informing, with abir not around & kunal not letting kuhu defend him, it will be kunal apologising & then working even harder to compensate for his upset maa
but he doesnt know how to handle kuhu, and till now he didnt mind doing anything morally incorrect for family's sake, but now he seems to have started having problem with doing those things
@aqua: I actually do not understand what meenu's plan is by trying to prove that the mishku are not right for rjv house
I mean I get it that she will be successful in proving that the girls' personal equation is causing disturbance in the bros' relation & thus causing disharmony in their family, but then what?
ye toh abhinal ko already samajh aa chuka hai, isse kya ukhad legi hamari benba
I agree! I feel the writers are setting the base for the separation track here. These 2 will try and sort things out and before they can fully do so, things will completely go out of hand deepening the mistrust between them.
@bold: Hai na??!! Sometimes, I also can't understand what the plan here is. I know it'll work in the end but what is the plan from BB's perspective??

@aqua: I don't think the choice will come down to Kuhu vs. Meenu either, because I think you are totally on point about Meenu having played her cards exactly right. The whole point of her plan, however, is for the sisters' conflict to drive a wedge between Abir and Kunal so they realise that these girls are not good for the family. And the way the writing works, it has to seem like Kuhu is driving a wedge between the brothers (for the majority of the audience who watch from the usual ITV lens) -- for Kuhu to do that, Kunal has to side with her over Abir at some point.
From our perspective, with the view that Kuhu has some valid points about how Kunal is taken advantage of, the resolution will obviously look a little different. For Kunal, the knowledge that Abir chose him when it came down to Meenu's ultimatum changed his whole approach to their relationship. That desperation he had before disappeared and he was able to be the adult, stand up to Meenu, and get Abir the wife he wanted. I am hoping that Kunal choosing her in a moment that really matters brings about a similar emotional stability in Kuhu, where she is then able to take the high road because she is 100% sure of her place in Kunal's life.
@bold: Oooh!!
That's an interesting take! I hadn't thought of that. That would bring about a major fight when they actually separate. The plot in my head is thickening 😗
@italics: Why do you want to hurt Kuhu more??
As they say, "jitne unche parvat, utni gehri khaaiyaan". The more trust Kunal shows in Kuhu, the more scared and excited I get, but I really don't want her to be sure of her place in his life because then that separation would hurt so so so much more and I know I will cry by the end of it.

I think I agree that we shouldn’t expect the conventional “sorry” from Kunal but I do expect a sorry through his actions and expressions.
Till now, I thought forgiving Kunal was Kuhu’s weakness. She loves this man so much! But you guys added a new perspective of Kuhu being empowered to accept Kunal’s proposal. It was her choice. I’m still not sure I’m entirely convinced but I see your point.
What I feel is, although, Kuhu knew exactly what she was getting into when she decided to marry Kunal again, it doesn’t mean she shouldn’t expect more from Kunal. It doesn't relieve him from his responsibility towards her and their relationship. I don’t know why but it reminds me of a conversation between Kitty and Robert from Brothers and Sisters. I know it’s a completely different context but their conversation, dialogues are relevant (I don’tremember exactly what they say though – I know it’s not very helpful
). For anyone who hasn’t watched the show, it was an American family drama (my all-time fav American show
). One of the sisters, Kitty marries Robert. Both are in the political field; Robert is actually the US Senator. They're both very ambitious but then as life goes on and their relationship evolves, priorities change. I remember one of their arguments about the same where he tells her that she knew who he was and what she was getting into when she married him. To which Kitty says it doesn’t mean she should stop expecting from him (in all honesty, I forgot what she says exactly but it’s something on those lines
).
Whatever Kunal's, KuKu's journey is, it'll be great to watch (maybe tedious per episode but mein toh binge karoongi na
). Seeing them come out stronger...
That is so true, though!! It doesn't mean she should stop expecting but that is for the future no?? We were talking about the past. But you're so right about this.
My mind has completely accepted that it was an empowered decision on Kuhu's part and I love her even more now. These small small things make me love her even more. She is so subtly the epitome of feminism on this show. Frankly, all women on this show, even the ones whose thoughts and ideas are the result of patriarchy do some thing that is so bold and so different that it blows my mind. Thank God for these writers!!
Good morning Nikkie!!
This is so cute!! The split second before Kunal's expressions changed. So cute!!

Eeeks!! So I just watched the first 2 episodes of the show
It is SO refreshing!!

Kuhu is still the same as she was on Day 1
When I watched the show for the first time my focus was FL and her story but after reading everything and discussing with you guys it now is like a totally different show..
Kuhu always hated Mishti and the reason is consistent - knowingly, unknowingly she steals the limelight and in the process hurts Kuhu. Even today the reason is the same!
Kuhu fell for Kunal on day 1 not coz of his sportscar but coz of his charm - a typical love (or like) at first sight! "Usne mujhe dekha!" And "Kya hero lagta hai!" - both gems!
Kunal looked SO gooood
Can I say yummy?
Uff he looked so mature back then especially in the suit and tie
The intro for both Kuhu and Kunal was so grand and special
Looked like a leads introduction
Am I the last one to notice that Humma Humma was Kuhu's introduction song?

Eeeee I'm so excited to watch rest of the episodes!! Will watch the next 2 tomorrow
@bold-1: IKR??!! It was like watching a completely different show only!!
@bold-2: None of the intros were as grand as Meenu's. The score just made it so much more grand!!!!
@bold-3: I am sorry..what did you just say???
@Sam & @Meera: The HCs were so good!! Dil hi aa gaya Kunal par to. I have to say my continuation of Riya's HC would ruin the vibe because it would have more conflict building up but I love this beech ka cuteness. This is so much nicer that what I can think of. I am too geared towards the anticipated separation abhi se🙈🙈
