ITV actresses who deserve to be in Bollywood? DT Note on Pg 16 and 23 - Page 6

I had been a Drashti Dhami fan and she acts like trash.

Jennifer winget acts and looks better than most of the bollywood actresses. So, she deserves to be in bollywood. Even my dad loves her acting.

Drashti dhami i liked her comic timing in geet.Use to be crazy fan but now i just like her as by time i have matured lol .She was good in Geet and good as madhubala too.Those who say she acted in roles dasmel in distress.I don't agree with them.Those who watched GHSP they will agree Geet was quiet strong character.She fought whole world for her unborn child although character maan helped her.MB was not also weak character she gave tough fight to RK but i didn't like mb when she forgave rk.In silsila her acting was good till she was domestic violence victim after affair started her acting become monotonus and her acting in some scenes was not so good.Aditi shined because her character was positive and all sympathies was with her character otherwise she is good actress but sorry aditi fans i found her good but not that good. she was overhyped because the story was written in her favor.In such sympathy and love of public will always with such characters. .I hv followed aditi work too .I have watched her in ganga(where she was strictly average)and also in punjabi movies too as i m punjabi.She is good at sometimes but below average in some movies.Sargun mehta is better actress than aditi i don't know why she didn't work in indian tv shows she would have excelled in roles given to her. DD was bad in pardes i agree but over all she is an average actress on tv just like other actresses on tv like DT ,Jenny,Sanaya,Surbhi etc. yeah i find DD gorgeous than any other tv actress.But I agree she don't deserve to be in bollywood but i disagree calling her trash actor because she is very good sometimes and very bad sometimes so in all average actress.

About jenny i loved her as her Maya she totally nailed it.Jenny is made for grey characters as her strong point is voice modulation. but she can't play seedhi sadhi ladki characters.She was so bad as zoya .

Some actresses who are good in comic roles are drashti,sanaya and surbhi.

You can't judge tv actresses on basis of trashy tv shows lol because most of characters of tv are mahaan and stories are stale they can't challange themselves with such monotonus roles.Over all you never know if they are given strong roles they could excel in in it baki acting is subjective may be you have different perpective.

Bollywood itself full of average or below average actresses .if i talk of myself i think old actresses were better than new ones.And i will say some tv actresses can act better if they r givemn chance than so called star kids

Looks wise erica fernandez and Krystal dsouza will look good in Bw movies

I find Jennifer to be a good mixture of acting talent, looks and she is even a decent dancer. I agree she gets more praise than she deserves. But she may have aged out already. Mouni Roy I thought was one of the worse choices to go into movies. She is wooden to the point (something seems to be off about her).

Sriti Jha and Aditi are the more talented ones. But they are on the plainer end. But who knows? Aditi did give bollywood a try but failed.

Only one at the moment who has everything going for her. Age,looks,talent.

Surbhi Jyoti. Her screen presence itself is so powerful. Put her with any hero on ITV and she can overpower each one of them. Every single one of them.

Her biggest strength is her acting talent. Nobody has her range on ITV at the moment. Drama,comedy,romance, supernatural - she's been a revelation to me. Her characters have been so different and yet memorable in all of them. I don't really follow TV actors' careers because hardly most of them can't act or are basic af but Surbhi is the first one after Shweta Tiwari that I really took notice of and actually followed up on. She's so supremely talented as an artist. None of Ekta's current finds and Gul's other heroines can hold a candle to her- She's been that good. No wonder Ekta keeps chasing her down for more projects.

after neeru bajwa left, i dont think there is any actress that is supremely talented. sargun mehta is def the better of the lot. i hate sonam bajwa in terms of acting. i think it def helps to be punjabi in order to do punjabi roles. half of the homework is done for you. aditi doesn't have that advantage.

as for jenny i started being impressed with her in kasauti 1. she was a teenager than and i thought she for her age she was great. i like her in "sangam pyara" too. in dmg she was a vast improvement to sukriti horrendous acting. shilpa might have edged out on romantic scenes but i thought jenny def emoted better overall. like i said she is not great. but i find her better than many average actress. and she has the benefit of being a package in terms of acting, dancing and looks. she had a great figure throughout her prime and still has one. that def does help in bollywood.

madhu actually started off as a very strong and well written character. she gave it back good to rk early on in the marriage. as the character was consistent and well written so was dd's performance. later as the character went all over the place so did dd's performance. dd was also great in dmg. dd does have a tendency to go ott. and when she does that her acting is pretty bad. and at the end of most of her shows when there is no storyline left dd's performance is always downhill. she is def someone who needs well written role to excel. she mess up very bad on underwritten characters that really have been developed or when characterizations completely get changed.

As far jenny is concerned i m not impressed with her emotional scenes when she plays positive shades. She was bad in emotional scenes as zoya but she excelled in emotional scenes as maya that's why i said in grey shades she is so spontaneous.Although i like both jenny and dd but i think both have limitations. Both have improved from their first show i remember DD was so bad in emotional scenes in DMG but nailed comic scenes but now emotional scenes are i yhink her forte.Same way jenny has improved a lot but sorry both can't be called versatile

I haven't been overly impressed by DD on any role the way I was with Jenny as Maya. But I am a DD fan because she is sweet heart, has a great bubbly personality, i haven't seen anyone thank her fans all the time the way she does and she was a stunner.

but in terms of acting i think jenny might have slight edge. just my opinion. i respect yours though.

imo. i think sanaya has ott tendencies too. i think she is a little overrated at least on this forum.
