Not the 1st time UK has done it , people here always appreciate NHS and other emergency staff and heap praises for them and show gestures of support for them . This clap was organised by one dutch origin lady , we didn't see celebs here posting photos of themselves while clapping but we saw our prime minster clapping outside his home ....totally opposite to what happened in india .

Anyone calling boris johnson liberal would be mad , he had full support of right wingers in UK, india and in indian RW community in uk . His tactic earlier of not taking it seriously and shaking hand and all that was classic RW tactic , even though now he completely changed his stand in last couple of weeks . He along with health secretary has been out and about doing meetings , meeting nhs staff etc all on a daily basis looks like he got it from there .

I have 0 idea about bojo and haven’t really taken interest in U.K. politics to know much.

My post was in general. How politicians in Italy and Spain asked people to hug Chinese. Also how when Trump wanted to ban Chinese people in January, he was called racist.

Yeh bat bat pe racism chillane wale log is not practical.
