Another drabble because I'm now obsessed with the idea of KuKu and their kids:
"Kittu! Kanu! Kanwar! Aaja, nashta karlo sab!" Kuhu called her three children. Kritika, Kanika, and Kanwar all ran down the stairs one by one, squealing and chasing each other. The three of them had their school uniforms on, and while Kanika's hair was perfectly done (she had taken after her mother in that sense), Kritika's hair was haphazard and unbrushed.
"Arey yaar Kittu, tum abhi tak tayyar nahi hui? Dadi ne chhoti nahi banwayi?" Kuhu sighed in exasperation. She was about to go over to fix her hair when she got a call from her latest client, that too, in full bridezilla mode. Kunal came down the stairs and saw the chaos. It wasn't 8 am yet, and his wife looked ready to cry. Quickly jumping into action, he grabbed a comb and sat down, putting Kritika on his lap. "Aajao Kittu, today Papa's gonna do your hair."
Kuhu looked at him in disbelief. "Oh really? Tum nahin kar paoge." Just then, Abir came and sat down at the dining table. "Arey, kyun nahin? Mera Nanko to 200% capable hai."
Kuhu looked at Abir with her hands on her hips. "Oh really? Lagi shart?"
Abir smirked. "You're on, bro." He grabbed Kanwar, who was running in circles around the table, and sat him down next to him, placing a napkin around his neck and beginning to feed him.
"Done!" Kunal showcased Kritika's hair, which was now braided beautifully. He had been secretly practicing on Kritika's hair for a few weeks, and had made her promise not to tell Kuhu this, so that he could savor his victory when the time came. Kritika and Kunal exchanged a wink and a fist bump. "Thank you Papa!"
Kuhu's mouth dropped open. Abir laughed. "You owe me now, bro!"
Kanika went and tugged on the sleeve of Kunal's suit. "Papa, aap meri bhi chhoti banwa do na! Pleaaseeee???"
Kunal looked up and smirked at Kuhu. Kuhu shook her head in amazement. Even after eight years of marriage and three kids, her ladaku chokro would never fail to surprise her.
Ahahhahaa. Love it. Kuhu would so make sure all the kids' names would start with a K. Uff this is so cute
