I'll read it after the Puja at home. Gotta run to get ready now!!!

@bold- Thank you 😊

@blue- I am, and this could be because I saw Kunal as the perfect fairytale hero for Kuhu, but he keeps disappointing me on that front. I want to see the lover boy Kunal Rajvansh, the one we saw during the off-site track

Here is a HC that I wrote in the previous AT, I am continuing it.

@Pihu- I know you want me to continue the Its Over!, but I am having a writer's block on that one. I have a pretty good idea on where I want this one to go.

@ everyone, like me, who is dying for a #KuKuSeparation, go give this a read!!! You won't regret it!!

Yes this track is definitely focusing on isolating Kuhu and it does not make sense to me. Because they gave her so much growth, she showed empathy for Mishti during Nish-Mish and Abir misunderstanding, she supported Abir over he brother. She balanced her professional and personal life without any drama and yet writers are trying too hard to make her seem negative.

I am also hoping that maybe I will be over this jodi, but then again I am working on continuing a HC for them, my way taking frustration out with the current track.

Unfortunately, the writers are very inconsistent with Kuhu's character graph. Writers seem to forget all the character development they had given to Kuhu because they needed someone to create drama in FLs life. I know the writers want to show that Kuhu shares a love-hate relationship with the FL, the execution of it falls flat for me so Kuhu comes across immature in many situations. We sympathize with her because we try to understand Kuhu's motivation on why she behaves the way she does. But the general audience doesn't put that much effort into understanding the characters and end of hating any character who is less than perfect ( this is especially true for female characters in ITV shows)

And since the beginning of this show, Kuhu's character is mainly used to make FL lead look good compared to everyone in the universe. So she will end up alone at the end of this track and finally, Kunal will "take her back" after the insistence of the ML and the FL.

Honestly more than the tracks being given to KuKu, I get frustrated by the fact that they are wasting Kaveri and Ritvik's amazing chemistry and talent over this saas-bahu-devrani-jethani drama. They deserve much better scenes and storylines.

That said, I thought their morning conversation, which was calmer and clearer did a good job of getting to the core issues. Kuhu is worried about Kunal taking on an unfair share of the burden and Kunal doesn't think it's a problem as long as it's his choice to do that. That board exam comment was so Kunal. 🤣

Kunal needs to get that he doesn't get to make solo decisions anymore and Kuhu needs to understand that this is the workaholic she married in full awareness. I see them slowly inching towards that.

@Ria: I totally agree with everything you said, but I am enjoying these developments because the characters are being fleshed out well. It's definitely hard watching Kuhu get the short end of the empathy stick, but that has been the case since episode 1, and it is what makes her character's resilience so impactful when she rises above it.

Kunal is slowly learning that Kuhu's flaws and insecurities aren't going anywhere and he has to learn to deal with them. Of course he has a long way to go, but today I saw a start. He managed to get through to Kuhu that she made an assumption about Mishti calling Meenu without knowing all the facts, and that led to far more drama. When he saw that Abir was escalating the conflict with Kuhu, he stepped in. It's a proper role reversal because he used to be the dog with a bone while she saw the bigger picture. Now he's doing the same for her. I love that she listened to him when he told her to stay back -- you can see the early signs of the great team they will make.

Kunal's reaction to Meenu's call post-humma humma is precisely why I think Kuhu has a very valid point about how Kunal is treated by the family. At this point though, Kunal doesn't see it as a problem. I guess my point is, yes, their relationship is very kaccha but it's inching in the right direction for a solid, long-term base where they learn to meet half way.

@ bold 1: This kind of thing is exactly why Kunal and Kuhu's story is so insanely attractive to me, even when it drives me nuts sometimes. It's so inexplicably different from the norm. It didn't start with mutual attraction or cutesy romance right away, nor did it move in the direction that most "beauty and the beast" ITV stories move. Excluding the humma humma sequence, I'd say their emotional progression has been the closest to reality I've seen in a while on ITV.

@ bold 2: With every episode, I start to see more and more how the RVs have undervalued and used Kunal from the beginning, particularly his mother. The fact that he went running to take her call without a second thought (even though he was actually about to do IT with his insanely hot wife?!?!) just confirms that.

@Ria: I love Nannu's involvement in this story ❤️ I so wanted him to be there when the divorce truth came out because of how protective he was of Kuhu without totally dismissing Kunal. Like at the hospital, he made it very clear how disappointed he was in Kunal for not knowing Kuhu's allergies but he treated it as a teaching moment and didn't hold it against him permanently. That is exactly the kind of guiding force Kuku needed.

Actually, I would have loved if they had combined the divorce reveal with the NishMish shaadi instead of the MA shaadi, with Mishti saying no to Nishant of her own will (maybe after learning Kuhu's truth), Kunal winning Kuhu back (we can keep that the same as it was in the show), Kunal and Kuhu getting married instead of NM, and Nishant then leaving back to London on good terms. Then they could have had a nice long track of Abir winning Mishti and the Maheshwaris over, and proving himself to BP, with Kuhu and Kunal playing cupids, sorting out their respective conflicts with Mishti, and getting a cute romantic scene once a week. THEN they should have done a grand, standalone shaadi for the leads.

Sam, we need you on the YRHPK creative team, NOW. Why can't we have a Sam writing this show?!?! Ugghhhh. This is why people need to start interviewing the creatives now. I really really need to know why they write what they write. Do they analyze each character as carefully as we do? Do they really play on the dynamics of these relationships as artfully as we think they do?

1. SAME. I would say even including humma humma, because unlike what ITV would have you believe, sex doesn't have to be the culmination of a two souls uniting in perfect harmony. It can also just happen when two people find each other attractive and you know, want to do it. Kuhu and Kunal may have a lot to figure out about partnership and mutual understanding, but they have always been very attracted to each other and communicated through touch. I mean, who could forget that intense zipper scene? And who knows what would have happened if BM hadn't called Kuhu at that moment?

2. Yeah, Kunal has always been made to feel like he has something to prove. His birth truth exacerbated the feeling, but didn't introduce it. I am kind of in love with this newly protective Kuhu, taking on the world to shield her gullible pati from injustice.

This would have made the show so much better a storyline for both couples that is separate. Sam you should be part of the writers team, yoi have such greT storylines to move the show forward, without kitchen politics drama.

Watched the epi.. So much drama it had 😳

They paused with a BANG! I'm sure we'll have lots of interesting conversations till they resume shoot 🤣

Okay so I'm gonna talk a out both yesterday and today's episodes combined. Could be an unpopular opinion here coz to be honest I didn't understand Kuhu today..

1. Kuhu thinking Kunal is the hard worker and Mishti is enjoying the fruits of his hardwork - I'm kind of not with her on this. How does Mishti giving back the company make her think that she wants to enjoy? She's working too in Abir's NGO so doesn't that fetch money? Missed logic? 🤔

2. Kuhu badmouthing Mishti again and again in front of Abir - I don't understand why she does this knowing how much he loves her. She had to get it back someday and to my surprise it happened today. Anyone else in Abir's place would've reacted even more aggressively but Abir calmly asked her the right questions. Did she ever accept her mistake? Even then she was blaming Mishti.

3. One thing I liked was Kunal explaining Kuhu about why Mishti talked to Meenu. Not coz he supported Mishti but coz he told Kuhu that because you didn't hear her completely you misunderstood her. Role reversal Kunal 😲

4. One more point for Kunal on the one unit dialogue. I so loved it! He's become so mature that he understood that a wife and a husband are a single unit so that's why he treats Mishti the way he does. He being upset with Kuhu for behaving badly with Mishti now seems right coz indirectly it is affecting Abir and bhaiopia never gets old ❤️😆

Whether he is able to enforce the one unit on himself - long long way to go

5. I liked both the bros thinking the same way. They want their family's happiness - no fights. That's their funda. Simple. But the sisters want what is theirs, their right. While Kuhu thinks she's right, Mishti thinks she's right and there's nobody to bridge the gap until now. So Abir tries to pacify Mishti and Kunal pacifies Kuhu both taking on behalf of each others spouses. This just irks both of them coz their husbands are supporting their enemies 🤔

Maybe there's so much more I wanna talk but I'm scared a long post would become boring 😆
