For me, Madhuri was the oy saving Grace in devdas, where every single actor was so OTT.

And it always surprises me when ppl praise karishma's performance in DTPH. Frankly character wise karishma's character was more contemporary and relatable, but she made it so cringy. Madhuri's Pooja was a a boring, unrealistic character, n Madhuri did justice to it.

Karisma stole nada nulla.

She was a horrible actress and in DTPH, she still went overboard with her rahulllll. Kuch dance kya kar liya.. faltu ka sar pe chadaya huaa hai. Ek Zubeida can’t change nothing. Karishma was bad, is bad and will remain bad actress. Baki ka tum log discuss kar lo.

She was definitely the best thing in Devdas.Why IF is so obsessed with overshadowing?

What do you mean not having the same parameters for everyone? There's no one way to play a character or experience an emotional life as an actor, and the audience can judge the same film or acting performance in the way they see fit. I'm entitled to my opinion as you are to yours.

No, acting is not "indeed subjective" - it's also a skill. All over the world (minus India, I suppose - here you just need to be a nepo kid) people spend years studying and honing it, and they graduate from acting schools where they are graded for it.

Let's not forget Renuka Shahane OBLITERATING her in Hum Aapke Hain Koun!

I barely even remember Madhuri was there in HAHK. Renuka's screen presence and acting skills stole the limelight completely.

Agree.. m so surprised when people put Karishma in best actress list and then have audacity to call kareena a bad actress. Even in her most OTT movies Kareena has been 100 percent more natural than her sister.

Her act in Raja Hindustani still gives me laughs. O Juhi..why did u reject it !

Errmmm. I have the same opinion about Kareena. Equally horrendous acting.

But Bebo at least more number of movies I can seat through and watch. Karishma’s 95% filmography I can’t stand.

Otherwise no person with even a single unbiased braincell will say Madhuri has been sidelined in her movies....One of the strangest things I got to read, amongst the other things, only on IF!
