Rooting for AniMini for the above reason is like people dont want to see the stereotypes and atrocities of that times

They just need entertainment

They need to understand that this serial is beyond that

I guess those wanting romance will root for Animini coz thats not possible with Rudita. As u rightly said its only for entertainment. They are not concerned with the story.

Ani needs time to get over Mini and he will. Lets say Boni wasn't in picture. Then what would have happened? Ani loves Mini but he loves his goal more. Had he married Mini, Mini would have wanted a lavish life and she would have wanted to move to London but Ani has no plans to relocate. He would have drifted apart from her. This realization would have happened over time and not overnight. Right now Ani is dealing with his conflicted emotions. The day Mini will do something that will harm Boni, that is the day Ani will finally begin to realise how selfish she is and he will get over her and the guilt he shoulders for breaking her heart.

See, I am not saying he shouldn't be affected by Mini. If he is really affected by her, he should have at least thought about her during the village track. The problem with makers and Animini portrayal is that, his character goes through a 360 degree turn when Mini enters. The change isn't gradual. He is all happy-go-lucky and sweet to Boni and doesn't even remember Mini but then as she enters he is all hawwwwwwwwwww and then his attitude changes completely. If he actually thought about Mini during village track at least once, that would have justified his behaviour. This sudden change is what isn't digestible.

Oh ok. Haven’t caught up with all episodes so far. Just finished the episode where puja is supposed to happen after marriage. Is Trilok nice towards Boni? He at least seems accepting so far. I have a feeling Boni and Batuk will become friends but Som may never accept her.

Trilochan Kaka just wants every rasam and rivaaz to be followed. Boni and Tri teams up to do the Pooja and all, he accepted Boni because the wedding is done and nothing can be changed now. So now he is adamant on fulfilling all the customs. :) He is surely the better side of Roy Chowdhary Family.

Whether ani forgets mini or not animini are definitely not the end game.

Ani and mini are just not made for each other. They are different people wanting very different things from life. Frankly had ani spent some more time with her he would have eventually called it quits. They both never gave me that childhood sweetheart or deep love vibes together. Till now i didn't understand what a guy like anirudh sees in mini to love her. He just doesn't know her well and is liking an imaginary girl who is miles away from the real mini. They don't even seem to be good friends😆

But i don't think all the above said things will be realised by ani anytime soon, it may even drag post leap😆

For ani to accept bondita, he doesn't necessarily have to forget or hate mini. I feel for now he will just accept the fact that bondita is his responsibility and he cannot have mini in his life. But i think she will gradually make her place in his heart and he would get very emotionally attached to her for now. Post leap anything can happen but since its rudhita journey, i guess ani will definitely fall for bondita though he will be in denial for a long time.
