Lol, I can't believe I have to reiterate this, but acting is indeed subjective and it's pretty much common sense.

What do you mean not having the same parameters for everyone? There's no one way to play a character or experience an emotional life as an actor, and the audience can judge the same film or acting performance in the way they see fit. I'm entitled to my opinion as you are to yours.

Why are you so hurt just because I have a different opinion that you cannot seem to stomach? Calm down. 😆

Madhuri is mediocre actress whose success was based on her borderline vulgar (at the time) dances. Plus, she was and is gorgeous. None of it takes away from the fact she was the last female superstar of Bollywood. I can think of only two bigger- Hema and Sridevi.

Karishma is a poor actress; YRF bought that national award to rub it in the faces of the actresses who refused the role. She rose to fame on David Dhawan and Govinda's crass comedy.

Aishwarya is a non actress. She can't even smile for the screen without looking like her face might break from the effort.

To say the latter two overshadowed Madhuri friggin Dixit is utter rot.

Madhuri’s appeal was always more her looks and dance.... I don’t think she was ever a brilliant actress, particularly compared to the others back then 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don’t know about other movies but I’m GG, juhi completely stole the show despite Mad playing lead.

Yeah,no. I can't believe I have to reiterate this. Talent isn't subjective especially when used to just take down an actress just because they seem up against your favourite.

Madhuri may not be the best actress out there but in this post the comparison was made with Aishwarya too and she's certainly levels above that. We get to compare their Art.

Why are you so hurt just because I questioned and called out your hypocritical standards for Aishwarya when you call Madhuri 'not an actress'? Calm down smiley36

I am trying to view it as objectively as possible and I find Madhuri a weak ass actor even though she's among the best dancers. I never called Ash the best actor, she's been decent and she's had her share of good and bad performances. Now, I never asked you to agree with me or go with my opinion. In fact, since the first time you quoted my post I kept mentioning it's completely fine to disagree on this because art is indeed subjective, but you are on a different trip altogether.

This isn't even amusing anymore, so this would be my last reply (yes you can have the last word). There is nothing hypocritical about picking one actress above another. You can think Madhuri is levels above and that's fine, I respect that. But I obviously don't concur, and view it differently. You don't have to lose your shit over it. Peace out. ☺️

This was a comparison post from the start. If Aishwarya is decent, then Madhuri is definitely way above decent. That's a fact, not opinion. But for someone to reduce her to just a good dancer, not an actress. Well, that needed the quoting. I agree it's not amusing at all to see such bs.

And I would have had the last word regardless. You don't have to make up excuses for it. Peace Out. 😃
