Jealous, possessive are one of Anurag Basu’s characteristics.. This man can get away with anything and everything because he is the ML...

I am gonna be like Bajaj here.. I wish Prerna had met Bajaj before..

But dont worry, if they are sticking to season 1 then we will have some great love story ahead of us..

PRB was iconic!

Am keeping my fingers crossed...😳😳☺️

But definitely not married. So I believe he got a shock there. What really did he expect prerna to do in all these 8 years? Lol his question to her was so rude. It's asking her why she is there and this party is for businessman only. Again the sexism is there. Fake or no fake that's really rude and distasteful to say

Bold : Absolutely..the "great" Anurag Basu will never change.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Anurag wanted Pre to hate him more and hence what he said was Pretense , to label him sexist is wrong .

Sexism is when one discredits a woman of her achievement and shows her what she achieved is only because of him .

You talked about the statement .... but the other person who quoted you labelled him ... whereas in all this Anurag Basu was no where sexists....

But yes the example for sexism given by me is absolutely right ...

Twist scenes and dialogues and take it completely out of context just because of ones hatred for the actor/character! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

My gosh! This is a pretty strong statement and I hope you are sure that the person hates Parth to be able to say this.

Show me a comment where it is termed as rape. Please do. I am willing to see if anyone has done that.

Out of context? Who gets to decide that? Everyone perceives things differently. I don't think anyone is in the position to call out others, stating they are taking something in a way they shouldn't. I am not sure if anyone holds any sort of hatred for the actor. Hatred is a strong word though and I am not sure why anyone would do that considering hardly anyone knows him personally to feel such a strong emotion called hatred. And about hatred for the character - isn't it natural? You either love a character or hate him. Depends on how it is written. Isn't that the sole purpose of writing? Love for characters and hatred for characters are inevitable parts of a story and writing. I can't see what is wrong in that!

I totally agree with everything you wrote in the 2nd para. I am no one to tell you how you should perceive things. My comment was in no way directed at you. You are one of the saner posters here and I am really sorry if you felt offended.

@italics: Yes I am sure and I know what I am talking about.😊 This forum has a long history!I will leave it at that. I know I have crossed a line but I am not sorry about it.

Coming to the post. I don't think Anurag is an abusive boyfriend like those Gul khan heros but its fine if someone thinks he used to manhandle her everyday, was an abusive jerk etc. I may not agree with it but I respect the opinion.

But I think you(not you) are really crossing the line when you say "he forced himself on her" for something that was shown as consensual sex. The scene in no way showed force. She was as interested as he was. Her saying yeh galat hai ( itv's and 80's movies standard dialogue before pre marital sex ) was to assure the trp audience that that Prerna was still sanskaari.Everyone knows why that dialogue was given to her. Yet you pick that line to make it look like it was not consensual? The word rape was not used but what else does forcing mean? It is really not funny to throw such words casually! Consent is still a grey area even in the west. Chalo... I will even accept that even though Pre wanted to have sex she was not completely sure of it but how can one equate that to being forced? Is it always a black and white situation?

I will just quote what my friend wrote. She has put it in a better way.

I appreciate you corners for pre the character but please using words like forcing on Someone is a sensitive issue so comparing that serious situation to that happened in the show (which is only your way of interpretation) dont make it look like it was something else.

People are real victim of such things in real life and comparing things which clearly was shown as consent between people and labeling it as some serious crine just for hatred is not right. I hope you understand the sensitive of the words you are using. Thats all.

Bash characters as much as you want but please don't twist things into serious stuff which is serious crime and is far away from what you are comparing it.

Thank you Bombay girl & Doppelganger for not letting this slide.

@bold Right from the beginning the show was shown as if anupre nd their families were living in 19th century- Prerna's baggy anarkali clothes to college, anurag although returned from London dresses up in awkward looking tight shirts and pants.. Those weird ott mandal scenes, prerna shown so dumb that can't think of using online services to scale up her mom's business, anurag just a namesake London return..

It all looked like they just wanted everyone to reminisce the old kzk S1..

Prerna saying those "ye galat hai" nd anurag assuring her of marriage within a week.. this was like watching a scene from 60's..

As cringeworthy as the entire seq was, it wasn't there in first place when the jungle sequence was shot.

Much later after they started of shooting of anukom marriage, overnight they made a makeshift jhopdi just for inserting this obvious contrived scene.. It was so obvious Cvs just wanted to show anupre had sex, whether it makes sense or not it wasn't their concern.

Throwing entire blame on anurag for sex by saying he forced her, belittles prerna even more. As if she's some poor little vulnerable girl who doesn't even know what she wants & not.

Okkkk😆 The point of the said statement was that anurag is the one taking decisions for her always and she is always submissive . Unless of course when he lost his marbles .its about the entitlement . He wanted it and she wanted it but was scared of society is so 60ish..this i agree 😆 of course her getting pregnant with that one shot was even more ..60ish😆 them not talking about it was ..u know..alienish. poora conception to delivery is a kaand in itself. Poor sneha baby.
