Is this season being conservative in depicting romance??

I know the theme of this season is hate/revenge but Prateek and even LSD have said this season has all three components - hate/ revenge/ love.

But having seen the earlier season,i was wondering if this season is being conservative in the romance department?? Now we have seen the muskaan jhooti hai sequence and know the actors can sizzle the screens given the opportunity☺️.

In fact even the promos of earlier season had a sizzle. Genuinely curious since it has many of the same production team of earlier seasons.

They have a gorgeous pair who can slay romance.. they have a sizzling chemistry which is able to shine through very simple scenes also.. wish the makers use this new slot and opportunity to up the scale of MayRa seriously.. they can burn the screen given proper scenes..

For me the editing is another big issue.. they shoot a lot and edit it like it doesnt exist .. esp d song sequences.. they get a choreographer etc and then show it for less than a minute and shoot it for the whole day.. the same they do to the romantic scenes also.. they just edit the best parts out.. and they spend all the time of the show when they wanna show planning plotting and abuse and even more the useless side characters like aditya Ananya etc..

Yes the editing is another big issue along with that purple dabba blocking the romantic scenes. But still overall I find the season a bit too conservative in today's time in showing intimacy

And it's not like they have a pair who will not do it.. both are such pro actors and pro in intensity and romance..

Just remembered HC saying in an interview that JenShad's hardly 50% potential was used by the CVs in BP which was terrible.

I hope ShivJen's chemistry and potential is made full use of by the CVs before the show ends because we have hardly seen the romantic part, the most was the dance sequence and the kiss☺️

And they were so good in the kiss epi and dance epi...

They can show some really amazing romantic scenes, they can show meaningful scenes between a couple, I have seen their previous show and the romance and direction by Prateek Shah was too good

I think it’s to do with the PH. If you check some of their other shows, the romance is the usual ITV type. The editing like Namu vyas said is the main issue tbh. Even when they shoot a scene , the editors do such a shoddy job.

Agree with all of you. The initial Mayra scenes were brilliant and I have re-watched only there scenes and the Hrishikes track was best with Rudra madly searching for Maya and somehow post wedding it just lost the charm, Rudra/Maya were behaving like 50_60's couple with only understanding, caring ideal couple types . The intensity, passion , love was not seen what they showed between them earlier.

It was all about plotting between MJ/Maya and keeping Ashish aside seeing on Friday episode I hated MJ all the more and I dont care if its fathers love defeated Maya then Maya should have Sister, Mother, Daughter love combo yo defeat him.
