otherwise what would the drama be.. like Kunal talks to kuhu and kuhu gives her opinion and most importantly she knows what’s going to happen next and Meenu is being like a headless chicken for how can’t I even initiate my plan.. 🐥.. right now atleast her plans work in the start.. they just bomb at a later stage

And secondly the stage kuhu is in, thinking from exclusively her point of view.. it may look like mishti’s plan to her, like a complete master plan.. get Kunal to accept Parul as his mother, Abir becomes the meenu’s only son and mish, her only daughter in law, that simply creates the status boundary between mishti and kuhu... and also she has only ever considered Meenu as her mil.. so that’s that..

though her anger is completely misplaced.. I think for Kunal to be anything like a better husband, first thing kuhu needs to hold him accountable.. she needs to be angry at him to have taken such a decision without her opinion or atleast let her know about that like she should have been when he gave mishti the company.. she was angry about mish getting attention on her birthday but she never held Kunal accountable for having her as part of decision making process..That was the point kuhu needed to throw a big tantrum, directed at Kunal.. I think both of them are so focused on the family, Kunal on making them happy and kuhu on being insecure about her footing in the family that their actual relation is completely on the back burner..

I hope I haven’t written anything offensive, though I know liking the parallel leads can be a very daunting task.. I loved keesh.. though more of because I love Rishi and Mohena but still I can perfectly understand..🤗

Thankfully, here I love the whole show, so I am genuinely never disappointed 😝

Yes you are right! They need to create a situation where they show Meenu almost win and then a miracle happens and the day is saved. Why butcher the character so much in the process? If you wanted to, why even create such a character whom people liked? They should've made Kuhu an out an out negative character

Lucky you are enjoying the show and not shipping anyone. Need tips on how to do that at least from the next show 😆

I'm disheartened today. Keeping aside the zillion character and story analyses today was a breaking point. KuKu ends for me Why did we fans even try to analyze and understand the characters so much? Just to be treated this bad? I feel like we're thrown in the trash and as Meera said feel like digging a hole and crying in that

I won't even go into the details of why but just 2 things which brought our already fragile world come crashing down..

1. Kunal seeking Mishti's advice on accepting Parul - Did he forget he had a wife who was as illegitimate as him and has better experience in such a case? Or did he think she's well off in organizing events for his family but his bhai and bhabhi are there for seeking emotional advice and discussions on other important matters? Why did he even marry her? Just coz everyone in his family like her?

2. Kuhu calling herself naukrani ki bahu - What has she become? From an understanding and family loving person (RVs praises) she becomes a shallow money minded and status loving person?

I can't even go on.. it's disheartening. I don't even know why I made this post. Maybe for hugs 😭😔

Makers out of all the parallel leads I've followed (my bad luck I always end up liking them more than the leads) this one really really ended bad. Can't believe you could ruin characters to such an extent and that could hurt us fans so much!! #wanttosaybadthingsbutnoideawhattosay

Here are my thoughts -

1) Kuhu might be illegitimate but she has no experience of being treated as such. She has never had to choose between her birth parents and foster parents but Mishti has struggled with it for all her life. They also share a commonality in the sense that their birth parents are not looked at positively by conventional society- one's father is murderer while other's mother is the "other woman". In both cases, they owe a huge debt of gratitude to their foster parents for all the materialistic privileges unlike in Kuhu's case when adoption was legalized and her father was her birth father and from same bloodline so she took privileges as her due. I hate to say it but Kuhu would not have given a level headed and mature advice. Which is why Kunal went to Mishti not even Abeer for some advice.

2)Kuhu has been shown to be very impulsive, flighty and social butterfly. She is capable of maturity if she wants (as seen by how she managed in RJV during her divorce track) but she rarely tries. It does not help that her family or in laws treat her like a child and she loves to be treated like a princess. She is very much influenced by Jas who is probably the most immature Maheshwari character. The other person who seems to influence her is Meenu who wants her to continue to be shallow and immature. Abeer has some influence on her but she sees him as someone who is allied to Mishti. For most part she has been someone who places a lot of importance to looks and status. Kuhu was first attracted to Kunal at a very shallow level (him looking like a bollywood hero in red sports car). She has not taken anytime since then to explore her feelings ...first it was dealing with Meenu's rejection and picking Mishti then it was her zid/craziness, then she got married only to find out she was tricked and was about to get divorced then it became her vs Mishti. Jas and Meenu are feeding into her mindset and so she comes across even more shallow than usual.

She need to take sometime to understand what she wants and what is important to her. What is Kunal's importance in her life and if she is willing to compromise with Mishti to maintain her relationship with Kunal and peace with Rajvanshs. I think the current track is targeting exactly that.

If I could badger the writers to fuel your imagination, I would!! Would it help if I tried writing an HC??

PLEASE WRITE ONE. It would help immensely.

Hey thanks for responding! Sorry for not replying earlier as I wasn't in a frame of mind to take in the justification..

For #1, how much ever the cases are different for Mishti and Kuhu, my only thing was Kunal was going to take such a big decision - announce his birth mom to the world. And his own in laws are unaware of it. Shouldn't he have thought of intimating Kuhu that at least? As his wife didn't she have the right to know that his husband is going to spill this secret to everyone including his family who would be a "part" of the spectators and equally as shocked as the rest of the world are? Fine, let him take Mishti's advice but just talk to Kuhu before announcing. It's not a birthday surprise where you just do the drama without any notice..

#2, I wouldn't say Kuhu has always been shallow. For some the post leap until Nannu exit Kuhu mattered the most and for some that except Kuhu is Kuhu. I got connected to the sane Kuhu and it was a gradual change for me. She was immature, childish, etc. And after the divorce track she became more mature with passing time. The writers took a U-turn and made her shallow to glorify FL. I don't have a problem with that but my only complain is why did they even show us a sane Kuhu in the first place? Should've made her a dark character from the start.

Okay😊.....I can't believe I am even writing this post especially since u guys myt have a better understanding of Kuhu and Kunal.

1. I kind of agree with @dramcrazy's POV of Kunal asking Mishti's advice . its not that he doesn't consider Kuhu's opinion, infact wasn't she the one who first gave him an insight about how it felt to be an illegitimate child? How she always wished that the mother who brought her up is her real mother. And infact, when Kunal asked her about her real mom, she had replied that she has only one Mom. So, its not that he is discounting Kuhu, its just that Mishti might mave more experience in the 2 parents scenario. He might have been interested to know how she accepted BM and BP as her parents, since he has a hard time accepting Parul as his mom.

2. As for Kuhu calling hersef naukrani ki bahu, wasn't the naukrani word put into her mind by Jasmeet?? As far as the Cvs have potrayed Kuhu, she has a habit of repeating other's words especially Jasmeet and to an extent Meenu as @dramacrazy has pointed out.

When her feelings get out of control her fav punching bag is Mishti and she somehow repeats the words that others have put into her mind. Like when after their marriage when she came for pagphera, she called Mishti a homebreaker and that she is from a broken family. This was used by Meenu repeatedly for Mishti. Likewise, Jasmeet has been feeding her brain from haldi that Parul is a naukraani, (before that Kuhu never had any problems with Parul) and when she became upset with the whole scenario the words burst out from her, that too infront of Mishti. I dnt think she would have used these words infront of anyone else.

I dnt know maybe they are potraying her as a child who can be influenced by negative as well as positive, who still hasn't undestood what she wants in life or has formed a definite thought process.

Her negative influence was always Jasmeet who might be the reason for the abuses or insults she always hurled at Mishti. Also, there was a childhood flashback of their's where Kuhu is blaming Mishti for hiding some top. She said that Jasmeet was the one who told her abt it. So Jasmeet might have been creating differences between the two from childhood.

Her positive influence was Abir and to some extent Mishti. Abir was the one who made her understand to respect herself otherwise nobody would respect her, the day after she got served her divorce papers.

And during that rare window when Mishku really understood each other, Mishti was the one who told her to become what she wants to become in life and not to live up to other's idea of her.

It might have been the trigger for her to accept her divorce and to become independent in life. During that period she became what she wanted to be, instead of living up to the immature tag.

P.S. Phew.....U guys can always disagree......and dnt wry this thing is going to have its climax soon.

Hey thanks for sharing your thoughts!

First #1 I replied to @dramacrazy as well that it's okay for Kunal to go to Mishti for advice but my problem was he didn't mind to even have a small talk with her before announcing it to everyone in public where the public including his wife and his in laws. The writers too are confused on what equation to show for KuKu since one day they are all romantically cute and next day they say they are fighting a lot to everyone 🤪 So expecting this small talk is irrelevant but as a fan of this couple it hurts to not get one.

For #2 I haven't looked at it that way so thanks for this perspective. So yea could be Kuhu is easily influenced with others words but she needs to have a brain of her own. It's high time she needs to stop acting like a child. I wouldn't have had a problem if she was always like that but there was a phase when she was shown acting mature, became everyone's favorite in RVs house, understood Mishti's pain, supported Abir and Kunal in times of need. This gave her character a new meaning but now she's back to square one. So it is really disheartening 😔
