Movies of current gen with cast of older gen - Page 2

Very few have thought of Anil,Sri,Sunny.Meenakshi and Jackie are ignored.

Nana while not as good looking or young looking, I think would have been a phenomenal Kabir Singh.

In Wajood Nana played an awful, obsessive stalker/criminal with a revenge agenda, minus physical abuse. IHe would have fit Kabir Singh like a glove.

By older then I thought u were talking about actors from 70s & 80s... 2ks lol

Sorry to say but its hard to imagine most of the 90s actors in the current movies as the actors from current gen are way more versatile and better at their craft than the 90’s ones- may be because they didn’t put themselves through much grind and kept on making the same old run of the mill kind of movies....

Not even the rom-coms...Just take YJHD...I can may be imagine a 90s actress in DP’s place but its hard to replace Ranbir with an older star...Same is the case with Ranveer and RKR in BBB and BKB respectively!

Sunny Deol can play dangal(amir) or uri (viccky kaushal) or all bhaagi movies (bhaagi movie is copy of sunnny deol ghayal and lootere etc story only anyways in more stylized versions) and war(tiger), commando also sunny can act (vidyut jamwal)

meenakshi can do alia bhats raazi movie suits her best

anil kapoor can do ashiqui 2 and rock star and yjhd, tamasha etc (all ranbir kind of movies anil kapoor suits)

Sri devi will be best in queen

Jackie can do ritesh role in bhaagi3 and war movie (hrithik role jackie and tiger role sunny deol)

Nana patekar can do kabir singh many times better than Shahid, even SRK can try Kabir Singh(hes done such roles in beg of career)

I am just listing based on their past roles what suits them

Problem starts with historical movie in 90s nothing historical so for bajirao, padmavaat and now taqth not sure who shall fit but still will try

taqth - aurangzeb srk or nana patekar will be superb as aurangzeb

dara sukoh can be ajay devgan or amir khan (brooding kind of role)

bajirao (ajay devgan or sunny deol )

padmavaat (srk as khilji, ajay or salman as ratan singh)

padmavaati - ashiwarya or juhi chawla (beauty queens)

mastani (karishma kapoor)
