The lack of emotions is very much a big fat flaw in the shows writing. The biggest reason IMO the show never connected is because the situations have been so contrived and almost gimmickish that there has been no room for genuine emotions. Ekta can do emotions well but in this show she hasn’t built on any relationship in an emotional way which is so strange.

Agree but with leap they always added new characters and their bond with other characters specially with leads and change equations btw present characters within one episodes without building it and we feel clearly changed equations and dynamics of characters in basu bari here but in prerish i m feeling almost nothing ..for me erica just can't act... And now as shyamala auntie always says lets agree on disagree..
