bajaj indeed from season 1 did some bad dark acts. He did it to keep prerna with him. Despite it was wrong it showed there as its showing now in this show that bajaj love for prerna never will change. Despite everyone knowing all these bad things bajaj did in the original people still root for them and cheer for them. When you think of the original everyone remembers the bajaj character and prerish as the popular couple despite bajaj dark acts. That's because no matter what bajaj did it always came down to the fact he was there for prerna in many ways that anurag basu could never be. He was her rock, shield and armor as he is now. That's why people love prerish and adore them. He was a gentleman and a man for her. He accepted a child who wasn't his own.I think your post could’ve easily stayed in your previous topic? You’ve said the same thing again with a few added points.
I’m not sure why we are so obsessed with the term ‘whitewashing’. Why do you want characters to be white?
You have thought far deeper than the writers. They are not capable to give anything beyond surface value.
If you know about Bajaj from S1, he too did some dark acts but fact remained that Prerna fell in love with him, stayed with him, had a family with him.
Please understand one thing - despite ALL your points. Bajaj is NOT the reason Anurag pushed Prerna off. That means there is no greater villain than Anurag himself. Even if later down the track they decide to mess things up for Bajaj’s character, HE was STILL NOT the one who push Prerna.
I think the worry should be is how to make Anurag redeemable? To me he’s done worse than anything Bajaj and Komolika have done.
How can we blame Bajaj and Komo for the villainous act by Anurag?
