I haven't seen the movie dear. But after reading your prologue, I googled about it and read the story. I loved your story alone, as it was much positive compared to the movie.
First, Mehek was just a home nurse hired by Dev (Purab 's cousin)..not his wife, as in the movie.
In the movie, I guess she tried to kill him (Purab), by poisoning.. but in your story Mehek was more compassionate and kind. She was shown needy not greedy. She wished to earn money, not at the cost of someone's life.
And finally, there was a happily ever after for the couple. Shaurya was such a genuine friend and true gentleman. Shaurya's love, evoked some unspoken feelings and she couldn't help, but unmask her motive.
Dev..was wrong. And he only deserved and received the punishment.👍🏼
I'm not efficient or good enough to draw comparisons🙏. But, I really appreciate your take on this story. The characters are already etched in my heart. Probably, I won't be thinking to watch this movie.🙈
I don't want to spoil the positivity and essence.
