@Meera: Even I was #inactive in a (clearly vain) attempt to wean myself off the show and the forum. I guess I shouldn't be surprised; this isn't the first time I've tried to quit and failed. Still, I am keeping my expectations and zero and one foot out the door!

Possible unpopular opinion: I agreed with Jasmeet today. Was there seriously no other day besides Kuhu's birthday to give Mishti such a huge gift? It was such a blantantly uncool move on Meenu's part, and Jasmeet clocked it. Not for the first time, I wish BP hadn't shut her up so rudely. -- her razor sharp perception could be useful if properly appreciated and channeled.

And the "it's getting boring" is rich coming from Kunal. 🤔Does he realise that his Mishti-hate was the on-loop sound track to the first two months of their marriage? The least he can do for Kuhu, now that she's finally opened up, is let her vent!

If you think about it, his method of shutting her up is really only encouragement to Kuhu to keep complaining. 😉

I didn't mind the episode today, the Kuku scenes were ❤️, even though I was hoping for a emotional scene between them. But KuBir bonding is just great, love how he comes in to cheer Kuhu up.

Mishti not saying anything bothered me a little, not that I wanted to her to be like oh no Kuhu you didn't do anything wrong, but this was an opportunity let some of her thoughts out. Also, not the place to discuss MisBir, but I still think that both couples lack trust in their partner. I mean Abir his hiding his doubt about his mom, while Mishti is hiding her arguments and feelings about Kuhu. Kunal not wanting to get in the middle of sis issues, was kind of hypocrite, given that Kunal runs to Kuhu when his relation with Abir gets swayed.

Hoping for a cute holi scene tomorrow between them. I really think the writers need to put a little more effort into their scenes, or bring back whoever was writing their scene until the 2nd marriage first night.

The best part about the precap was Kuku calling Meenu dragon saas and Abir's reaction to that.

Totally agree, Ria! I basically typed the exact same thing and then deleted it for fear of getting moved to the WU thread again. 😕

Abir wasn't ever taking sides but was trying to facilitate a conversation between the sisters. Kuhu opened up after some assurance that she wouldn't be judged for sharing her feelings, but Mishti isn't there yet. *Sigh* Abir doesn't know that he is dealing with years and years of Maheshwari conditioning that says sweep everything remotely unpleasant under the carpet!

Ditto on the hopes for a cute holi scene! As much as possible, I am trying to be shallow and watch just for the cuteness now and not get too invested in the overall story. Wish me luck! 😳

Holi Head canon- because I don't trust the writers to give us a KuKu centric scene.

Kuhu was touching up her makeup in front of the miror, when Kunal entered the room, she noticed his sherwani was covered with pink color. Kuhu noticed Kunal hiding one his hands behind his back. "Kunal No!" she said turning around, "please mujhe colors ache nahi lagte aur mere baal kharab ho jayenge". she whined touching her curls. Kunal gave his wicked smile, as he brought his fist from his back, pink powder coming out from the sides. "Come on Kuhu this is our first holi together, thoda color toh banta hai".

"Kunal no, please no" She tried to sneak past him, but he grabbed her hand pulled her back, locking her in his arms. "Kunal chodo" Kuhu struggled to get out of his grip. Kunal brought his color filled fist close to Kuhu's face, she closed her eyes and begged him not to put any color on her. She looked so cute and adorable. After a few seconds, Kuhu felt Kunal's cold hand around her waist, his touch made her shiver she opened her eyes to find Kunal had rubbed the pink color around her waist. "Itna haq toh banta hai". Kunal winked at her, turning around to leave. "Jaldi aana, everyone is waiting for you!" He told her.

"Kunal" Kuhu called, he turned around and felt cold water hitting his chest. Kuhu had attacked him with a water gun filled with red colored water. Kunal was shocked, Kuhu gave him a wide smile and shouted "Bura na mano, HOLI HAI", she ran out of the room.

"Kuhu ki bachi!" Kunal ran after her, happy that she had cheered up.

On Kunal saying its getting boring 😳 Now that you pointed out he was on repeat record staimg he hates Mishti and now this 🤪 Apparently he's become mature and as I said competing for the most positive character in ITV 😛

I also didn't like Kuhu texting Jas that she doesn't understand why Mishti is showing attitude. I mean for what you did she has the right to be that way. I wish Kuhu apologized to Mishti again after the slap drama. She said thanks during the birthday but a sorry would've been better.

I haven't seen the episode yet fearing that aaj #total barbaadi hogi. After reading all of your comments and seeing this picture/gif, I have to go see it now. I'll come back in half an hour to read the replies after this post but iss picture se aage nahi badha jaa raha. My brain has shut down☺️

This is so cute!! Can I expect an upcoming scene where he calls her Maa and that we are shown the whole scene???

Update: I didn't like the episode. Can't seem to be able to enjoy KuKu scenes because of Kunal's attitude. Actually, saari galti show ki bhi nahi hai. My headspace has been filled with depressive thoughts lately. Anyway, I'll write my opinions when I have more energy and maybe a little bit more positivity because I feel drained right now.

P.S. I am really happy to see Meera and Sam back on the AT.
