Atleast beyhadh I know will end in 5 or 6 months nd it has a predefined story which will have a start and an end and a proper journey to that..

I do feel in coming times things will change considering the boom in digital shows and most ppl moving to watching online shows.. TV will become useless and then they will have to evolve TV also to get back viewers.. TV will become the next landline phone..

True Namu! I was reading the other day that since Jio appeared in India, a lot of digital shifts have been happening in India. And yeah TV will become obsolete. Also, this days not many houses use landlines so you are right, some day no one will watch TV.

Okay I’m going to play the devil’s advocate here and say that normal women who have a set pattern of life, use these shows as a means to escape. So my grandma can’t really go anywhere and you’d find her glued in front of the tv from 8-2 because she has nothing else to do. It doesn’t matter to her if the show is illogical or she has seen the same hogwash for the past 20 years.

She likes finite shows like Pakistani shows but thats when she is done with her dose of ITV.

Lets see if web shows reaches the remotest corners of the country. Then there’s definite hope :)

U know how barc collects trp ? It's not collected from total viewership in the country.. it's a sample only.. they use some 10k houses in India and take an average of their viewership only.. forget the billion ppl in India who watch TV..

U know here in middle east and even in India many ppl dont even use tv connections anymore ever since smart TVs are available.. they buy subscription to the online platforms and watch the shows on TV but online.. because most ppl dont even watch all the TV channels.. so say if I have apple TV or any such inbuilt TV Google experience I wont bother buying dishtv tatasky.. I can get Amazon Netflix zee 5 Sony liv all in 1 place and I can use the same login when I am at work or elsewhere in my mobile too.. this is the new gen viewers..

Only ppl like my mom and all still watch TV.. and that generation will soon perish and so will TV viewing.. that's why TV channels struggle so much these days and they are in constant pressure for viewership.. some years ago it was not the case..

Even Bollywood movies these days come online within 2 months.. ppl dont even go to theatre and watch that much..

Anyways waiting for todays epi.. I was feeling like weekend yesterday 😡.. and now again 2 more days there will be no epi .. Sony doesn't give any promo or snippet also

I hope this 1 missing day improves the ratings of the show

I realise a lot of shows this days are not even reaching TRP's 2 or 3 despite having popular starcast and it's happening to all channels. A few years back a lot of shows used to reach TRP 3. Now it is one or two shows. Just shows how web watching is growing.

Trp is not an acurate measure of viewership.So the system needs to be changed
