Yes AnuPre were married in season 1 and that track was beautiful too 😍. Later on Bajaj and komolika comes and ruins them for the next six years 😳🤣, till they die together as soulmates 😃

This season they brought novelty during naveen babu, mishka track.. and the way they developed anupre relationship from acquaintances .. to friends.. to best friends.. to one sided love...To mutually sharing the feelings .. it was shown beautifully.. even the first komo track and memory loss track.. had novelty and humour ...

these writers fail to understand that they should not have mixed season 1 in season 2.. if they wanted to do then they should not have changed the characterisation of the characters...

Having seen season 1.. I strongly felt last season.. every other love relationship was developed more than anurag-prerna.. be it prejaj, anuaparna, anusampada even anukomo that's why people felt more connection to them than anupre..

I used to favour anupre and liked bajaj as a character thanks to ronit roy.. i always wondered if pre got to know that bajaj slept with madhavi on the day of her wedding with bajaj ... Would it have changed the dynamics of prejaj relationship? As pre also learnt that anu still loved her ...

Last season.. i felt it was only about moving on in life .. i am not saying it's wrong ... moving on also depends on the situation.. But if this season anupre don't want to move on.. and rather dont want to give up on each other then why is it wrong ?

This season anupre relationship was developed more than any other couple...despite the lame sacrifices they always do... we cannot ignore the fact that these 2 always wished only the other's well being in mind ..

I know most of you want to see pre as a career oriented woman like her predecessor.. but I fail to understand why every woman needs to be like that.. i know some women who are all india rankers in c.a, iim graduate, etc.. but still choose not to work and are happy in just being there for their family.. they find happiness in social service instead of focussing on career.. its perfectly fine... Also i salute all home makers who do so much for their family .. if pre character wants to be a home maker / career oriented woman... its her choice and we need to respect it...

If pre of last season could forgive bajaj later after learning the truth of him sleeping with madhavi.. Then why is it if pre forgiving anu this season and still choosing to be with him .. cannot be accepted .?. after all it is her choice .. its her happiness .. even though most fail to see.. but pre is happiest when she is with anu.. She is completely herself with him... Same goes for anu..

I really don't want anupre to ever give up on each other.. its fine to be angry .. its fine to take time off from each other... Its fine not to forgive the other easily.. but never letting ego to come between them.. making the other realise what a mistake they did in breaking them.. communicating and sharing the feelings and problems.. ultimately finding way back to each other is what I hoped to see this season...

From all the responses so far, it looks like kzk makers actually chose the worst parts of S1 and tried to force it into S2. Cue multiple marriages without any meaning.😆

That also says that what premises worked in 2001 will NEVER work in 2020. I remember the K shows of that era were all based over who had the highest rights as wife/bahu. No wonder cringe show titles like Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli🤢 were hits. Even Kyunki and Kahani had a similar premise. Yes they did deal with some major issues like pre-marital sex, single motherhood, marital rape sparsely but on a common canvas of the female lead navigating her rights in a rich household as a wife or a bahu.

I agree 2001 ethos were different. An 8-year old me actually found it strange if I saw any married woman without all the paraphernalia of sindoor, MS, sakha pola. Times have changed and so have I. As a married woman myself, I don't assign any importance to these symbols. And neither do my parents/in-laws. Whereas, my grandparents would definitely be scandalised.

And that's why, KZK's fixation with shady marriages at the drop off a hat and sindoor-ka-haqis not finding any takers today.

Thankfully, later on Ekta's canvas changed to how to depict motherhood with BALH (if I remember correctly) and YHM and later came the supernatural naagin😆 It's a mystery why she went back to the old shaadi canvas with KZK. Who the eff cares Anu gives sindoor-ka-haq to whoever or Pre wears MS in whose name while they make AnuPre promise each other a thousand lies. Marriage has nothing to do with a soulful love story. And all the kasautiis here seem to be around marriage rituals only 🤦🏽‍♀️

It's a major facepalm when I read post leap Anu asserting to the audience that he's still not given sindoor-ka-haq to Kom and Pre coming to take revenge in a shaadi ka joda. Looks like the makers still haven't learnt what is repulsing the audience.

And mark my words, it will all again boil down to majboori-sacrifice-shaadi of the leads in a few weeks from now🤣🤣🤣

This is such a great post - it perfectly captures what makes this season's AnuPre so much better - how they just don't give up on each other (or at least they haven't yet)!

Frankly, I feel in the previous season, Anurag's was a weak character, and Prerna and Bajaj were much stronger characters. But this season, Anurag's characterization is quite strong - he may have memory lapses and stupid ideas but he always stands up for Pre and saves her, something which the previous Anurag failed to do.

On the other hand, Bajaj this season hasn't been as well-developed a character and has been quite dark so far (at least till before the leap), not even last season's grey.

yes.i agree with whatever u said.the only relief in this season is anupre r committed to each other physically n emotionally in this season unlike s1 only bcz of the change in time.

I mean now if Anupre consummate their marriage with Kamo n Bajaj like s1 ppl will not like it.Bcz that phase of tv is over.

N sorry to say but at least they "married" multiple times and consummation is a natural thing after marriage. Unlike s2 where it's still unclear whether pre was married to anurag or not and whether komo is married to anurag or no and latest , whether prerna married bajaj or no..... In such a scenario they are free to keep as many women in their house "without marriage " which is gross .

Not one scene of happiness for anupre is ekta k gift to the fans. I guess that's the theme and she goes by it ? It's not a love story as mistaken . Its kasauti of 2 people who r are in love but can never be together. N yes , the most unique thing will also go away in sometime..pre moving on.

I heard the 4 senior creatives were brought in for the promo design and leap planning . Are they still there in the titles?

This is the precise reason this season is so repulsive. Finding way back to each other but they dont find it . Futile exercise. Thy will still be finding a way till the last epi .

Because the serial is still running we cant be sure of this.

ha ha.its true.but its copied from kasam se n YHM..to save the wife making the wife believe that he tried to kill her.now whats happenening is exactly like kasam se.

in s1 prerna killed anurag bcz of a misunderstanding.here Anurag tried o kill prerna to save her.funny coincidence
