There, I said it!

I have never seen a more confused story and even more confused execution on a DAILY basis.🤣Literally every day, issa brand new day for the CVs! Hell, it's been over a year and still they have not figured out which way they should go. Kabhi naya kabhi purana. Makes for one hotch potch of a serial leaving its viewers scratching their heads, ki aakhir ho kya raha hai??!!

I'm sure when EK did KZK1 with a rail-ki-patri concept, she didn't have any particular fixed storyline in mind (none of the shows in ITV do). They just went with what worked with the main characters at that time and gave us 7(?) years worth of a hit story. I don't know what struck her to remake it again in 2019. But if it's a true remake, could they have started and kept it as that, maybe? Instead, they start with a completely different treatment of the main characters, added in new characters and story arcs. And then suddenly try to rein in the plot along the old one's line (multiple marriages of leads 🤮).

What they fail to realise is that this AnuPre are completely different than the old ones. And indeed if your story is about this AnuPre, they need to be given a story according to their characters. You can't show Anu as an intelligent, smart guy suddenly agreeing to marry Komo because of a lame sacrifice (many more examples post that, I've lost count). Similarly, you cannot show a naive, quick-witted, unambitious but loving girl becoming insensitive to her own family (marrying Bajaj and not informing anyone, and now just leaving Kolkata without fighting for justice).

They just HAD to somehow show Anu betraying Pre and Pre coming back for revenge after a leap with Bajaj's help. Everyone seems to know this is what will happen because it happened in KZK1. But the makers never stopped to think that the AnuPre they have sketched this time around aren't suited to it. Literally, remaking one's own show should have been the easiest thing, but the makers failed in doing even that!😆

So, maybe the writers should write a new rail-ki-patri story and not forcibly insert plotlines from season 1 malai maarke. No wonder, this show got it's highest TRP only during Naveen Babu track which was completely absent in season 1.

Maker’s and Channel’s quest to repeat Season 1 is their ultimate reason for failure 😆.

Move away from that Makers and Channel .

Why should I watch season 2 if they are going to repeat same season1 , Hotstar already has seaon1 episode uploaded.

Why shoudl I watch season 2 if they are going for same multiple marriages and same 3rd wheel being the reason for separation.

The only reason I started watching this show in expectation that may be this time they deal with real Kasautiis, the real hardships he couple faces .
but Alas they are still stuck with Lame 3rd wheels concept being the only Kasautiis in keeping a couple together ...😆

There goes Ekta’s one clan where she said this is new generation Kasautii 😆

The only reason I’m watching this show is for AnuPre , as I’m in love with them ❤️

But yes these lame season1 repeat attempts are making people run away and they know that hence keep giving assurances in terms of promotions , but how long can they keep doing that.

Why not just give it a different name if she wanted to show a different story ? Give a different name to the characters and serial then.

Anupre are not different this season, its THEY who created them with whatever they had in mind . N what they have in mind is , rail ki patri . Rail ki patri doesnt become a runway in 2020. That's the problem . 😆 I dun wanna call the audience as foolish , as they have gifted kzk2 the trps which it deserved but realistically speaking, a couple who never talk , ready to sacrifice each other for each other, who r so dumb in their heads to not understand a simple thing (yet getting awards like business man and woman) , whose lives r ruined because of secrets between them still they dont learn from it and repeat the mistakes , such a couple deserve this kind of a story only . Jo cheez hai hi nai uspar kaise wo story likhe? I am.talking about brains. I mean wo toh daala nai na anupre mein .. First we say we watch it for actors. If yes then we shouldn't be complaining about the story .

The predecessor was far better for a certain period of time . So if they copied it , specially with the characterizations, the result may have been better

I agree. This whole serial is not a scratch on the OG one. It's high time they stop insulting its legacy by calling it KZK. Ekta really thought calling it that would magically repeat the OG's success...lmao. No success without characters having a moral compass,Ekta. Especially the leads.

They tried to break away but the result was so bad that they had to go back to remaking the original from no where😆

They would have stuck to the original plot but the actors' execution of their resp characters made all the difference.

The moment naveen babu track worked, Cvs did realize this season's anurag can't be sidelined nor can he be a punching (read slapping) bag for prerna. Nor prerna of this season could execute the fiesty nature of season 1's prerna. Even hina 's version of komo was more of a comic character.

I agree with this 😆.....

They just can’t ignore Anurag of season2 just the way They couldn’t ignore Bajaj of season1.

Bold- "real" world kasautiis are too unexciting apparently in EK world. 🙄🙄EK wanted to show pain via AnuPre. She could have picked any of those famous doomed love stories. My favourite being Atonement.

Skillfull copying also needs a lot of talent which our makers clearly lack.😆 2 years mein Ekta ko itna malum ho jana chahiye tha. Isliye chadar jitni hai, pair bhi utna hi felao.

Frankly, majority of ITV shows have no proper logical story (just so makers can drag it for ages). But still they have some semblance of coherent tracks. Here, KZK2 stands out in its confusing execution. No wonder, nobody apart from actor fans want to watch this show for their acting only. No true fans of the show itself.

And I don't believe serials always go the way they are first advertised to be. Most serials are at first advertised to be about some social issue - work-life balance, girl child education, taking care of elderly parents, and then ultimately zero in on saas-bahu dirama only.
