Nami please don't take a break. I love that we can discuss different views about the characters in this AT and still ship KuKu. I also get negative in some of the posts because I just get frustrated with the way Kunal and Kuhu's character is written ( They have so much potential which is being wasted ins nonsense kitchen politics). But please do keep posting. ❤️

Firstly thanks for the lyrics Pihu. I love this song (both male and female version). I think coming to the Analysis that you posted I think the topic maker had done a great job relating the song to Kuhu's situation to the storyline during that time (around 8 months ago). That was the time when Kuhu was madly in love with Kunal and wanted Kunal in her life at any cost. I think the meaning that she posted of the word Bekhudi was quite interesting too.

On an unrelated note: I will be forever bitter that we didn't get a proper divorce track for KuKu. I would have loved to see the Bekhudi male version played when Kunal was pining for Kuhu. 💔

A trick for next time if you use IF on a browser. You can actually press the back button and you'll get all what you had written. You can just copy it and post it once IF is back on track. And if you are using this on chrome as well, then you can try going back (not through the history tab) and you might find your write-up.

Coming to lyrics analysis, I actually liked the way the TM had explained the different meanings of the word. It really suited Kuhu's love story at that point. I am not really if it still does. I mean, yes when they have eye-locks. The song felt perfect during the zipper scene and my only complaint with that scene is I wish they would have let Kunal actually see Kuhu in the mirror and then she would've been called by BM. That would have actually given a bit of insight into Kunal's feelings. Uff! Now, I am bitter and I am blushing thinking about that scene. Somehow, the dressing table works magic in KuKu's scenes. There have been 2 scenes with a dressing table and they are both enough to increase my heart rate☺️.

Sorry! I got sidetracked 🙈. The song felt perfect during the zipper scenes because it basically means that they go into a trance like state and the rest of the world stops to matter until Dadi calls for Kuhu and they suddenly realise that they stopped breathing (Remember Kunal??🤣)

I don't think that's an unrelated note. That is perfectly related. I wanted Kuhu to break Kunal's heart like he did. I wanted him to pine after her with the song playing in the background and him realising that he loves her.

Kunal's love track is still left and if they don't show it, I will hate it!!!!!😡 I want a happy Bekhudi male version but like a slow reprise version, because Kunal is a calm soul and dude forgets to breathe when he looks at a blushing Kuhu.

I had a very stupid thought and I'm still thinking if I should share it or not. Oh! WTH! I'll share it. It would be so funny if KuKu were having a moment and the background music is "Saans me teri saans..." or just breathing sounds or JugBir reminding Kunal to breathe when he is looking at Kuhu across the living room or something like that😂😂.

Coming back to the song, I also want a duet version. Oh my god! I have so many demands🙈🙈

When I was referring to the character inconsistency, I was referring to the way writers write her character. I understand what you said about why Kuhu behaves or freezing up in the situations that in comes in front of her but I feel writers don't think that deeply when they write her scenes and I have a problem with that.

I understand that Kuhu was crippled by the fear of losing her loved ones so she could not reveal the truth. But in the precap yesterday, she says that she wanted Mishti to drink that coffee so he put the sleeping pills in the coffee, which is not consistent with what we saw in the episode. She had no real intention of putting it in Mishti's coffee but the pill just fell from her hand and landed in one of the coffee. But when she tells this to Mishti, Kuhu tells like she actually intended to give her the spiked coffee. That was the inconsistency I was talking about. I may be wrong because precaps are often misleading but I do feel Kuhu's character lacks consistency and I feel like writers just forget what she said in one episode and make her say something else in the next episode.

Oh yes!! That seemed inconsistent when I saw the precap. After these few hours, I am on the fence.

Reason: She actually took out the pills to put it in Mishti's cup and then she remembered her reaction to Kunal doing the same with Nishant. That's when she stopped. I don't think if she had intentionally put the pills, she would have put more than one. That wouldn't have risked Mishti's life as it did in Nishant's case. But she didn't want to be a hypocrite. In the precap, she is actually explaining why she took out the pills and not the part where she put them in the coffee. I don't know if we'll get that part or not.

Kuhu wouldn't risk someone's life intentionally. She just wanted Mishti to sleep off the Pooja. This reminds me of another inconsistency. Even if Mishti would have slept off, how would that have helped Kuhu?? This would just make Meenu's wish come true of Abir doing the pooja alone until and unless she thinks that Abir would refuse to do the pooja without Mishti. Budum..dum..dishhh🥁

Kuhu is not thinking like she did earlier. I can see why... she sees a repeat of her childhood about to be telecast. Years of unfair adjustment(in her opinion) that the Maheshwaris had been overlooking, turning a convenient blind eye towards any ruffles in the sisters' relationship - even to the day of their wedding. A part of her wants to employ saam daam dand bhed to ward that off and is repenting it ofcourse. Everything around her just re-emphasises what she has experienced time and again. From explaining things away to this gradual loss of self respect💔, it will be interesting arc to watch. The way I see it, she refuses to be the Urmila of this story😲

I can however see how Kunal has to now work with Kuhu because so far he hasn't given redemptive speeches even. So lets see if he will put in the work and understand (which does not always mean excuse) where Kuhu is coming from and stop her from going there again? Or does he think his job is done once he has expressed that he wants Kuhu in his life?

PS: Kaveri is unmatchable in the emotional sequences.👏

The Urmila thing🤣. It reminded me of the thing that fanpages have been doing. Comparing all the characters to characters from Ramayana. I don't get it because Abir is no Ram. Mishti and Jugnu might be comparable to Sita and Hanuman and Kunal to Lakshman but that's about it.

Moving on, I am tired of the Maheshwaris. So so tired. Don't want to see their faces except Varsha. Varsha is a cutie!😛

You're damn right about Kunal. Dude needs to stop thinking that just because he is behaving all romantic now doesn't mean the past has been forgotten. You hurt Kuhu and now it's your responsibility to nurse her to full health.

The way I see their character arc, they will slowly go from immature to mature. They have to learn and inculcate those habits. That takes time. And yes, the process is frustrating but it will be worth it at the end of the day. This show is not going away so soon. We will have to accept that their maturity will take time.

Kaveri gets to show us all possible shades of Kuhu. As Meera said, we got to see Kuhu be concerned, scared, and feel guilty in that short KuKu scene.

Also, isn't that what KuKu's love story all about? Loving someone even with all their faults and their flaws. Kuhu showed Kunal that she accepts him as he is. Now, it's Kunal's turn. When he sees her for who she is, the good and the bad, and is still willing to accept her and help her through the dark phases, then only will this love story develop. I feel that would pretty exciting to watch.

@aqua - Thanks for sharing it. This fan made trailer for Jab we Met is crazy good! the scenes are so perfectly synced. (like the part where Kuhu/Geet is saying mujhe shaadi karne ka dialogue). I love how creative our fandom is.
