This is too much!! Creating a posts on such things is not TOXIC according to you but ppl are?

Everything thing when done in moderation is acceptable. You should search out facts first how this all started, who started and then should have spoken about it.

Only one question u wanna ask...is it only the ppl who criticise healthily (acc to u) face this? And not ppl who love the show???😂🙄

ITV shows’ content in the past ten years have not changed one bit,...especially the Ekta realm shows. The TV shows since the Ekta reign pretty much developed a standard formula, lot of money spent on a concept, marketing and promoting and very little money spent on writers and creativity. Of course TRPs were the ultimate deciding factor of the staying power of a show and that was a fighting battle, tv channels became quite ruthless in fact, lot of production people did leave channels becos they found that there was no creativity and it was numbers game...no one really knew what worked and in fact, trp audience which is not the audience on twitter was smarter, if they got bored, they would turn the channel. This meant the scramble for TRPs was real. Forum audience which is also the SM audience were not taken seriously by makers as the years passed, becos makers realized trp is most important. As shows began to run skelter, TV channels became ruthless, some makers portrayed immaturity and fans became emotional. The audience sitting at home was wiser, they didn’t care for businesses, they were bored, they moved on. SO content didn’t change much, BUT tv channels became ruthless and trp audience became unforgiving.

And as for FORUMS ...the past ten years has not seen much change either, but then has it? Forums have always been a place where groups collect to analyze, intellectualize and provide some creative chatter about ITV shows which frankly don’t deserve this kind of time and attention, but then why not. But then just as channels got ruthless, so did fans of the shows. Rabid fandoms, name calling, rude behavior and frankly lack of basic decency became the norm towards the end, all of this especially when a show is cancelled or a lead is leaving the show. What used to be a safe haven to gush, create and analyze became toxic.

I can assure you while many many may disagree, go and look up posts and replies and discussions in the past 10-15 pages and compare them to discussions during the first 20 pages...this forum was no different from any other. We became an intolerant group, just like the channels are a greedy group and the makers are a complacent group.

Maybe, we should develop a more detached method of watching shows, love them for what they are not for what we imagine them to be.

The news of show shutting down with fav actors on one side and content on another really made it easier for forum to choose sides. A few of us were wanting the show to continue and few of us were willing to let it go .If the show wasn't going off air, Ppl would've been able to love their actors as well as criticize the storyline and ask for better content without having much to lose. This is very similar to Veena s story ... she wanted Naren to live inspite of his EMA, having brought Pooja to live right next to her and was ready to accept him back because of his accident ... she didn't see the risk of losing Rohit and held grudges against him for just hiding that fact.

I have a feeling the forum would've retained its decorum if the show wasn't taken off air. Till yesterday, there was some hope I believe, and any kind of feedback about the content was percieved as a risk of losing the show.

Agree 100%....‘bold‘

Serials are just timepass and they have to be like that ...agree that not much time should be invested ..should be instead utilised for something more meaningful 😀

.actually they are tp, just that when we watch those looking at it like a normal storyline and as time passes we just try to connect to the other community who is watching some serial like us and purely comment on storyline ....we do not realise that ppl are so deeply connected to a show maybe ....and might by take things personally Or in A complete different way not anticipated at all...

for us it merely becomes a show wherein if it is good it deserves praise ...if not then we point out to that ....but when ppl start abusing and calling out names you realise that for them it is really different...and they can’t take anything against it ....you realise for them you have committed a crime 😀.....

We might even forget this in less than a day once it ends ....

Exact my point, what used to be safe heaven, fun, positive, has become toxic because of such posts... Exactly, look up the posts, sab negative hai, kahin bhi positive, fun vibes hai hi nahi... And to be more frank, its because of such posts, n forum members who make such posts...

Have you ever, for once seen your n your friends T O X I C posts! Of course, one always sees others, not theirs... And for one thing, this is first time, I commented on your posts, cause I never wanted to spoil my mood, aur aaj toh bilkul nahi for a special reason... Yet, the words you used are horrible...

Literally! Calling us toxic, n what is this! A hypocritical mentality showcasing!

Wait how you know the post was targetting you? As far as I understood it's calling the environment toxic not people. It says 'we' so the person is saying everyone including themself are at fault.

Lot of fans are frustrated and disappointed with KHKT going off air this soon. They didn't expected that. They are very attached to the Ronakshi and show.I think that's why some people reacting like this. I think actors and producers will move on from one project and come up with another one. But we as a fans will be disappointed with all these sudden off air news and all.

You are so right...that is what even my point is...I don’t know which side you are on but I am happy that your’s is a post which is more real ...I am saying that because we all have to understand that serials are fiction ...no one there cares for us...they will make new projects ...actors will do new serials ...we will remain as we were ....serial was just a storyline...so we should try to remain detached...commenting is nice for discussion but considering comments personal is not required ....whatever the comment is should be read and understood like a comment ....there should not be any harsh or extreme reaction or rather we should not target ppl because of a serial

Btw i saw Kaafir on ZEE5 and it was simply superb...amidst these posts would urge all to see it...it is superb...direction acting story all is Simply outstanding ....loved it....that is good content 😀

As the content changed fm new-age realistic to typical ITV dramatic trp-driven, the forum junta also wld hv changed to include more trp aunty types who tend to more dramatic themselves.

Folks like me who cldnt bear to watch the degeneration of the show starting fm the prenup business, first stopped watching the show & gradually stopped visiting the forum regularly.

Unfortunately this fandom has become the new Shitbaaaz fandom. They go around mocking all other shows and provoke other fans without any rhine or reason. They mock all Ekta shows without even watching them. And then they get offended when people retaliate. Lol

What moral right do these peeps have to judge others when their own show is showing all shit on earth!!

People here keep saying Ekta shows are the worst. But I think Sandiip has set a new beach mark of destroying a show which Ekta can never touch.
