I just watched today's episode and I was left severely underwhelmed. The KuKu scene was clearly extremely lazily written. And please someone explain to me how, in any way, is a puja "romantic"? A puja can be devotional or spiritual, but not romantic. And if this is Kuhu's idea of romance, she's absolutely no better than Kunal. And here we were thinking that this is the girl that is going to teach Kunal how to be romantic. Oh, PLEASE. If anyone should be teaching Kunal how to be romantic, it shouldn't be the girl who thinks bhagvan ka puja karna and aarti are "romantic" activities.

Kunal's character needs to show some development. Like, now. I can't take how stagnant he's becoming. It's extremely disinteresting, and if I feel this way, I'm sure Ritvik feels the same.

I feel annoyed right now. Please, someone PLEASE write a HC to fix today's sorry excuse for a KuKu scene.

EDIT: Why don't they ever have scenes of Kunal just admiring Kuhu??? She looked so pretty in her mahashivratri lehenga!

Okay I'll stop being a negative Nancy.

@bold 1- I am in the same boat its seems like after the blush scene, someone else is writing for Kuku and doesnt understand that this is the actual begining of their lovestory. Kunal scenes are becoming stagnant which is ver annoying because Ritvik is a great actor. Juat to focus on the drama, they are ruining the couples.

@bold 2- yes I totally wanted a Kunal commenting Kuhu scene today. She looked so pretty.

The only thing I liked was Kuhu thinking rationaly about mixing the pill and being in a fix throughout the situation.

I feel the same way. What have they done to Kunal and Kuhu's character? I wanted to write something as soon as I saw the episode, but I didn't because I feel like I am always complaining about the writing and spoiling everyone's mood. 😆

I got really irritated listening to Kuhu when Kunal was talking about going out of the house to spend time together. Kuhu used to get extremely happy when Kunal used to show the slightest emotion towards her but now he wants to take her out but now she doesn't give a hoot that he wants to take her out of for a trip? She is just focused on haar, limelight, aarti and most importantly Mishti. And what was she saying that Shivaratri is Romantic? Who is writing these lines and most importantly --- what are the writers high on? I seriously wanted to throw something at Kuhu when she said that puja is romantic instead of going on a trip with her husband. 😆 I feel second-hand embarrassment for Kaveri who has to say these lines 🤔

And why is Kunal so passive now? He needs to do something else other than running around his bhai, bhabhi, and his wife. They have just completely ruined his character. Alteast Kaveri gets to do something different as an actor in her scenes, but Ritvik just gets few lines here n there. There is absolutely no character development. Why can't Kunal see that something is bothering Kuhu? At least ask her if something is wrong. Kunal has sadly turned into the character similar to Jigar of SNS.

The show is getting more insensible day by day. My only hope for KuKu is the look doubtful look that Kunal gave Kuhu during the aarti in the BTS video. I hope he figures out that something is not right and at least thinks that there is something fishy going on.

Sorry for the Rant. I am just very disappointed at the state of my favorite couple right now 😔

Yes I liked that part too but I feel like she should have made some excuse and not let anyone drink the coffee.

Okay so here is a HC based around the KuKu scene today... because I was imagining the zillion other ways the writers coulda made this scene better and I finally just had to put my own version out there. I changed the trip destination because I just thought it would be more fitting:

Kuhu walked into her room and closed the door. She sighed in relief. Thank goodness she had found the cup that she had accidentally dropped the pills in and tossed it before anyone had taken it. She walked over to the mirror and took off her earrings. Kunal entered the room, speaking on the phone to someone about a hotel reservation. Kuhu looks up at him.

"Kuhu apni bags pack karlo. Kal time nahin hoga" Kunal said excitedly, placing his hands on Kuhu's shoulders.

"Arrey, kyun? Hum kahin jaa rahe hai kya?" Kuhu said confusedly.

"Haan. Kal mahashivratri puja ke baad, hum dono Dwarkadhish jayenge."

"Dwarkadhish? Kyun?"

"Tum hi ne to kaha tha, ki tumhein vahan jaakar darshan lena hai ek din. Kyunki tumhein Krishnaji bohot pasand hai? Aur Uske aur Radha ki hashtag 'epic love story'?" Kunal prompted.

Kuhu's face brightened. She couldn't believe Kunal remembered her saying that. "Par Kunal, kal Mahashivratri hai, aur ye Abir bhai ke liye special hai. Humein parivaar ke saath time spend karne chahiye. Hum ek aur din bhi to jaa sakte hai, hai na?"

Kunal smiled. He found the way she cared so much about their family so endearing. He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and cupped her cheek. "Kuhu, I don't know a thing about being romantic. But itna zaroor pata hai, ki agar hum baar baar parivaar ka excuse le liya, to hum kabhi bhi ek doosre ke liye time nikal nahin payenge. Maan jao na, please?" he asked her softly, in a sweet tone.

Kuhu couldn't say no to his pleading, intense eyes. She was so touched by his gesture. She wrapped her arms around him. "Kab jaana hai?"

Kunal smiled and pulled her into a tighter hug, inhaling her floral, sweet fragrance. Finally, he was at peace, in bliss, with his rainbow.

I haven't yet seen today's episode but this HC depicts your frustrations more than the post you wrote before.

Was it supposed to mock the scene because I can't imagine Kuhu ever saying she wants to go to Dwarkadhish?? I can't even imagine her saying that Pooja is romantic but I guess I'll see that in the episode. I don't want see it now🙆🏻‍♀️.

On an unrelated side note, Kuhu saying "Pooja is romantic" reminded of Sanjay dutt in the movie Rudraksha saying "Doing pooja everyday is cool"🤪😂. Oh! The memes on that scene😂😂.

Arey nahin nahin, it wasn't at all to mock the scene. Kuhu never struck me as a super duper religious person, but she is definitely rooted in tradition, because that was how she was brought up. I kind of imagined her as a little girl growing up in awe of Radha-Krishna's story and getting her inspiration for wanting an "epic love story" from them.

But I hope the HC wasn't bad! It came from a genuine place, I swear

Oooh!! That is cute! I can imagine this and I just imagined them having the conversation about this when they were in the car and going to Champaner.

That's what I thought as well -- no santaan of BM and Varsha is going to be heading off to vacation on a festival day. And this might just be me, but I do find Shiva and Parvati's story the most romantic mythological love story. Kuku's missed connections and off timing are definitely a test of patience, but I actually like how they aren't making things easy for Kunal. He has to confront the fact that while Kuhu knows him inside out now, he has barely taken the time to really know her. I thought it was really sweet that he chose to go to the mandir with the family because of her. ❤️

There was also a really interesting parallel with the spiking scene. There Kunal backed out at the last minute, but it was Mishti who ended up handing the drink to Nishant. Here, Kuhu quickly talked herself out of the idea, but Mishti's push sent the pills into the coffee. In both cases, without Mishti, the mistake would never have been comitted. I'm quite curious as to why the writers keep symbolically making Mishti unconsciously party to her own destruction when they don't ever address it openly. 😕

I had completely forgotten about how Mishti was the one that ended up handing the drink to Nishant! You're so right, that is a very interesting parallel. I always wonder what is intentional and what isn't intentional in ITV shows. I sometimes wish they would interview the writers once in a while, instead of the actors over and over again. I'd love to hear them talk about their creative process while they're writing these plotlines. I feel like that would bring a lot more clarity as well.
