It's your first VM so you'll naturally make a few mistakes but you'll get better with time. Also, I don't know what problems you faced with Insta but if it's the video frame and the Insta frame not aligning, you could try making the frame square with a white background.

I did try to align the scenes to the lyrics. Yeah, framing was the issue I was facing. I just need to know the ratio and export accordingly next time. I couldn't watermark as I would usually hence the crappy black screen at the end. Plus some of the clips I used had a few glitches I realised but cba so I carried on with them.😆

@bold: DQ, I love this, and it gives us so much to work with. I would say, the problem for Kunal becomes that Kuhu's new life is 100% NOT broody -- she misses Kunal and the family of course, but she can't stop gushing to him about all the new things she is doing, how quickly she is making new friends (because of course, it's Kuhu!), how much she is enjoying her course work and assignments, and how well she is doing academically (she never thought she'd be the padaku type but the subject matter is so exciting!).

Now it's time for Kunal's insecurities to take center stage and he starts to wonder if he made a huge mistake. If Kuhu truly realises how awesome she is, is she still going to want to be with a "boring loser" like him? Did she just fall for him because she hadn't seen the world and didn't know any better? These doubts will make him revert to his moody, angry self and cause some emotional distance between him and Kuhu. He doesn't realise he is avoiding talking to her because he is always half afraid that she is going to realise that she is so done with this relationship.

That's when the family notice his spiral, annoy him by identifying the wrong problem, and then perceptive Parul, with BB's help, concocts the plan to send him on a "work trip" to Kuhu's location. When Kunal gets there, he realises that all of Kuhu's friends know more about him than even he is strictly comfortable with 😆 because Kuhu talks about him all the time. Kuhu realises that Kunal has been pulling away because he is afraid she's moving away from him. They have a nice long conversation about how long-distance amplifies your insecurities, and promise to be better at communicating when they are slipping into them.

@SNOW!! As someone who knows absolutely nothing about video-editing, that VM is gorgeous! I loved the scenes you have matched with the lyrics, especially the ones from the verses. Such a sukoon-bhari viewing experience!

I would love to see a jealous Kunal, maybe Kuhu is planning a wedding, and one the grooms friend is a flirt. Kunal sees this as he helps her with the decoration.

I like that in your imagination BB is supportive of the KuKu relationship. I usually start thinking along with the characters' arc as shown in the show. I did a double take when it dawned on that here, BB is not the egoistic psychopath we are being shown in the show.

I am very curious as to why she has never been shown to regret her actions.

This is during the Haldi fiasco with couple changes, Abir doesn’t know about the divorce. Kuhu messaged Kunal wanting to come to a final decision, but Abir requests Kunal to help him with something and Kunal feels guilty for not being able to go to Kuhu in time. The divorce truth comes outnot because of Mishti, but BM and Varsha finding the papers in Kuhu’s room.Just when the Maheswari family is questioning Kuhu, Abir and Kunal walk in and the whole thing becomes a fiasco with Shauraya getting upset with Kunal, and Abir shocked.

BP looked at Kuhu, “Kuhu aap kya chahati hai? Kya aap is rishte mein rehena chahati, yah phir yeh divorce?” BP asked. Kuhu thought about all her moments with Kunal, the outburst on their first night, his constant negative remarks towards her, him having no concern when she was at the hospital for her allergic reaction, and worst of all today when she asked him whether he was going to come or not one last time to decide about their relationship and he hadn’t come. He just showed up now with Abir bro with a surprise for Mishti. Kunal looks at Kuhu, his eyes reflecting pain, there was so much he wanted to say. He really hoped in his heart that Kuhu will give him a chance to explain to resolve this without going through with the divorce.

“Nahi” Kuhu finally says, “main yeh fake shaadi aur nahi nibhana chahati”. She cries as tears roll down her eyes. Kunal stands theirshocked, as he watches Kuhu run upstairs. He moved to follow her but Shauraya blockshim. “Papa, please mujhe ek baar Kuhu se baat karne dijiye”. He begs. “Nahi,tumne meri beti ko bohut takleef de li, likin ab aur nahi, acha yahi hoga agar ab tum aur Abir yahan se chale jaao”. Shauraya says firmly.

After a lot of conversations withing and Maheswari familyand with the Rajvansh family, its decided that, Mishti Abir wedding will go onas planned. The wedding is done without any drama or issue.

The same night Maheswari family is in the living room now thinking what they were going to about Kuhu and how they were going to support her. Just then Kunal comes to the house with a suitcase. BP questions him sternly, Kuhu comes down hearing the commotion going on.

She questions Kunal, “Kunal tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?”

“Mujhe sirf ek mauka do Kuhu, mein sab thik kar dunga, I don’t want this divorce”. Kunal says with utmost sincerity.

“Kunal please, mujhe iss baare mein koi baat nahi karni hai jaao yaahan se!” They go back and forth and Kunal stays firm on his decision that he will win Kuhu back, and he is not going to be signing the divorce paper and has already requested extension on their filling from the court which was approved and now he was going to be a Ghar Jamai to the Maheswaris. Even thoughBP and Shauraya are unhappy, BM and Varsha convince them to give Kunal another chance, as their daughter’s happiness lies with him.

In my HC, BB's not supportive exactly but she can be managed with the right spin on things. Her crazy, controlling behaviour comes from her own fears and the trauma she has faced; Kunal and Parul are the two people who really get this. She is willing to change her tune if she sees something is actually in her own interest -- like even though she didn't want a working bahu, she supported Kuhu's business because she saw it was helping distract the family after Abir's break-up. So basically, Parul puts the right spin on the idea when she presents it to BB -- maybe she asks Abir to help out at the office while Kunal is away and BB jumps at the opportunity to spend more time with him so happily obliges wrt Kunal doing their foreign liason work. 😉

This is so cute! To tell you the truth, I didn't like the ending too much because I would have liked Kunal to be tortured a bit more. BM and Varsha zyada easily maan gaye than I would've liked but it's your story and should definitely be told as you wish to tell it. Keep writing more!

Oh definitely, the story doesn't stop there, BM and Varsha agree to let Kunal stay at the Maheswari house as a Ghar Jamai, but Kuhu ignores him and makes sure that she irritates enough to make him leave.
