Current happenings

Hi guys,

I believe everyone in this forum is a somehow worried over the future of B2 and so am I. I believe the CV's actually do stalk this forum. So I am just going to hope they read this.

Firstly, the show is only 3 months old plus with a superb starcast but unfortunately the timing is a pain as it clashes with all the saas bahu dramas. A bold concept of Maya romancing all sons and father would have been better aired on Netflix India and I can tell you it will be a hit! On Sony Liv, it is doing so well because usually the youths and young adults watch it and this kind of concept is normal to them as we see a lot of this in Hollywood.

I feel Sony is not respecting the work of the actors, cast and crew that they decided to pull the plug and go digital. Why don't they change the time slot? Anyways, I was wondering which show do they want to air at 9pm? IPL are starting and for once everyone will be after the TV remote and you can be rest assured, no one wants to watch dramas. Also, try to be different for once.....This show may not be the norm and morally incorrect but at least this is content which many people look for. It tries to be different which is why so many people watch it online. And if this show is getting attention, then you know people's interest are actually changing.

Also, SONY IS DISRESPECTING THEIR AUDIENCE IF THEY DECIDED TO REDUCE THE NUMBER OF EPISODES AND THEN END THE SHOW ABRUPTLY. WE SIGNED UP FOR 6 MONTHS AND WE DEMAND 6 MONTHS. Seriously, what's the big deal? Another 3 months more left. Just let your audience enjoy the show and you enjoy your digital income. The revenge drama has just started and you never know TRP might go up. Even 0.1 TRP is a big deal for them.

Btw, stop cutting the scenes. Can't stand it. We want to see Maya and Rudra romance, MJ manhandling Maya and the previous scenes of Maya and MJ romance. We signed up for all that and we are not going to go ewwww cause we know of the concept from the beginning.

Waise bhi, Sony, I believe you will regret this decision of yours and by then, I hope it's not too late. Good luck with finding another Maya as I cannot imagine Maya being other than JW. She breathes life into Maya. And as Rudra said, tum mere jaan ho, Maya.Aur hum forum waasi ke liye, tum B2 ki jaan ho.

Anyways, All the best Jennifer! You deserve better. Don't think I will watch anymore serials but I admire your work and will be always looking out for your posts on Insta! ❤️

You've nicely summed up the feelings of the FD and the situation they are going through since the off-air news dropped.

Hope we would get to watch the entire story which we've signed up for without any rushed ending.

Jenny, Ashish, Shivin are just aweesome, they and their work deserves better treatment.

Perfectly summed up. The channel knew it was a bold concept and the girl is involved with both father & son(s). Why the drama now? It's not like the show is getting zero TRP. It's at par with other shows. And online it has the highest TRP. They can easily let it run it's course in a new time slot given they don't seem to even have any show promos on.

At least make an effort to save it? I feel like they know that Jen and other main actors won't agree to go digital so then they just pull the plug. It's so disrespectful of the channel to both the actors & the audience.

No wonder they have not been showing any new promo at all over the past few weeks. Cause they had plans to move it online or pull of the plug.

Can't Netflix/Amazon buy over B2 rights? At least we still get to watch it and those are big names to be associated with.

Do not mind me saying this but fans are being hypocritical, when they accept and expect Jennifer to say no to Beyhadh going digital as she is TV actress and OTD platforms do not have that kind of reach at the same time Sony Channel is wrong for not bearing losses. 0.5 TRP with an actress like Jennifer Winget, who is probably charging the most amount from Sony as she has a contract with the channel, then they have to pay technicians and long list of people involved in this show, why would a channel suffer loss when they know the show is doing fantastic online? They are in this for business, with Jennifer they might have expected highest trp for their channel instead they are getting the lowest TRP, if Jennifer is right to think about her career then so is channel, Beyhadh fans are primarily Jennifer fans, if she does not want to give the show its duration on a different platform then is she disrespecting the audience?

I don't think either Jennifer or channel is wrong, it's their career and professional life and they have the right to do which suits them the best

Hey Nora, everyone is in the showbiz business is for their own profit. So, let's see where this whole fiasco ends up with. The only disappointment will be the revenge game has just started hence abruptly ending the story will be an injustice to those who watch the serials and those who watch are not necessary JW fans.

For me, this show doesn't really do anything according to what they promised in terms of darkness, Maya's changed avatar with her crazy painting of a beautiful cover has just 🤮, as much as I am reading how this show is a different one, I am failing to see it, I don't blame TRP audience for it as the audience for Sas bahu shows and Beyhadh is not the same, Rather Beyhadh has turned out to be another Sas Bahu typical love story where male lead is clueless, low TRP is not a surprise to me so to speak.
