Neighbors rang the cops as they heard her cry for three hours straight and cops brought her to shelter. It took years of therapy to help her. I am not sure what happened to her but I hope she is doing well.

You are right choice also means you want to exercise that choice - and I think if you believe in it then doesn’t matter what anyone else says or does. I guess some unfortunate can’t and some won’t.

Oh man. Hmmm I too hope she is doing well.

But he will accompany me if I seriously want to go out so it doesn't bother me much

And he is an equal partner in raising the kids(bathing ,putting the kids to bed and also take full responsibility of the kids if I want some me time) and will also lend me a hand with the household chores

Hun I realised that and this is one of an extreme example. I meant in some situations choice sadly is not an option - because of other factors.

Awww that’s super cute lol 😂 my husband just let’s me do anything I want and our arguments are about him not putting his clothes in the laundry basket and keeping the toilet seat up 😂😂😂😂

I guess it also depends how safe it is to go out after certain time in India? Here it’s okay I can come home even at 2am if I want but say if I was in an area where it may not be as safe then I would drag him with me lol 😂

Sometimes we take it for granted no?

I really hope she is - I had to leave as I had found another job but I still remember her so vividly. It still makes me tear up.

Hmm such situation does. I see little elderly people who are not afraid to voice their wishes to their children and I feel very sad and sorry. I encountered such a elderly could in a super market. They could not even buy an extra thing as they did not have additional money and it was their anniversary. I bought a cake and we celebrated it together.

🤗🤗
That is such a beautiful gesture. I know what you mean and it’s terrible. I hope they had a good anniversary.

I recently read that in New Zealand this woman was being stabbed on a busy street by her ex and three bystanders came to her aid. The ex stabbed her 18 times but she survived thanks to those men who stopped her attack ( it was on the NZ police Facebook page) and I thought those men had the choice to step in and help or to walk away and they made the right choice.

But when I see people letting things happen and they have the choice but don’t make it then it really makes me very upset.

oh we r lucky to have great husband

Ya he is concerned for my safety and he is nothing compared to my papa

before marriage my father was very strict I studied in a girls only school run by nuns and God they were very strict. As i am an only child my papa kept a close eye on me

Even when I went away to college(stayed in the hostel and enjoyed full freedom but never dated as I know it will get blown out of proportion but had great Male buddies) he routinely comes and inquire about my studies and all.And in my family love marriage is a big no no .but luckly I got a gem even if it was a match found by my father(papa loves me very much but some times he takes full control and doesn't give any choices

And since we dont want to hurt them we went along with it

So I understand the meaning of certain choices taken away from our hand

Awww that’s so sweet you sure have nice men around you and it’s a blessing to have that.

I know about catholic schools - I went to one too lol 😂 but as you can guess I was and still am a total rebel. My family is very very liberal so had complete freedom. I did everything I can when I was single and when met husband he knew best to let me be. My ex’s are still friends with my parents lol 😂 I don’t mind they are cool so who wouldn’t be 😉

Yes you are right we indeed are lucky and I guess that’s why we are so vocal as well which is great. My in laws are super cool too and I guess that’s why I married otherwise I loved being single and just having fun.

I know what you mean - I am lucky I have never had that but I completely understand what you mean. Choice - seems like a normal word but so impactful isn’t it?

so right dear even when some choices were taken out of my hands I could see the selfless love of my parents. So I am okay with it and even if I read international novels and like liberal thoughts I am living in India so I let certain decisions made for me but I protested vehemently and give my parents hell😁😁😁😁😁(Iwas never a meek daughter) The choice of my degree was still a sore point I want to take a particular subject but my father made me take another

All my protest fell into deaf eyes he even threatens to discontinue my education (since I was only 17 I believed him )but now I know me being selfsuffient was very important to him and he would have come around

Good on you 🤛🏽🤛🏽🤛🏽🤛🏽🤛🏽🤛🏽🤛🏽🤛🏽

That’s what count - it was easy for me but I guess you are a better person to describe how choices are implemented and to fight for it. I never had to as my choice was never questioned and at times it use to irk me but I appreciate it a lot.

I remember asking dad that would you be okay if I married an Eskimo and lived in an Igloo lol 😂 he just looked at me and goes,” if it means you don’t get to drive on streets - go for it” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I use to drive super fast.
Reading I don’t know I love as no one else does in my family but I guess being in the library all those years ago paid off. My first love is always reading and then everything else. This show is a time pass and unless it gets better I will move on. I have started watching Veep from Season 1 and I am loving it so hopefully if this goes for custard I have options 😉😉

very funny the way ur father dealt with your question

I got my closure and I am not emotionally attached to yjhjk any more. But I will watch it till the end to know how it goes

Reading is my greatest joy and books r our companion who could whisk you away to faraway lands and super mystery

Mmm Veep it's a comedy right.but for now I will stick to my reading in addition to yjhjk as it wont affect my schedule much.
