I was thinking you took phone with you to your rescue mission in that kala jungle where baazigar couldn’t come but phone reception can? And if he wanted why not send roshni to jungle and be at his mum’s bedside vigil?

He says she broke his trust but she said she had permission to go. Why did he not trusted her then? Be angry and even stop talking but why kick her out so bad? Also why did he not do kiya mifa and made mum better? I blame him too. Roshni’s fault was not checking if Alia is dead indeed but that could be coz of emotions.

That’s good - I have a very liberal outlook as you can tell lol 😂 I think those regressive and patriarchal mindset is what creates all these issues in the society and gender imbalance. I have always had freedom to do what I want and I respect that freedom of choice and I wish everyone should get that. The whole societal dogma of women are better seen not spoken really makes me angry.

that dialogue of aman was funny. How could anybody ring in mystical well

Dumb point

Ya roshni didnt suspect aliya would harm ammi and she had permission but still she could have called someone(but today they showed soo many servants so parveen was never alone)

I too have a liberal outlook bcoz of my reading .

But cant always practice but I am ok with it since I am comfortable and satisfied with my life

Unspokenly every one has a choice and they should voice that. If they dont it's as much their fault as it's the other who is not giving that choice.

That’s great sadly in certain situations the choice is taken away and it bothers me a lot. I remember I had supported a lady long time ago who was in a shelter and I took her to the supermarket and gave her money so she could buy groceries and said I will pick her up in a hour. When I came back she was standing in the same spot with the money in her hand and I asked her what happened ? And I remember so well what she said. She said,” I never had a choice to decide so I don’t know what do buy, can you help me?”!!!! I tell you it still makes me cry. So I hate when that choice is taken away and I don’t like watching on telly either when choice is taken away.

Yes and that’s why I do get she was wrong but bigger share of the blame goes to Aman and his Alia jaap. He started it.

I agree but sadly in certain situations ( DV) choice is a metaphor. But otherwise absolutely right - everyone should speak up and just because no one is doesn’t mean you shouldn’t either.

And even then post leap they could have show that in the interim aman regretted his impulsive foolish and cruel action of throwing roshni out.. thar he is very apologetic and struggling to try to make things better but some incidents causing him to back out due to his ego. After the girl being thrown out the last thing audience wants to see his her being Ill treated and name called more by him rather than she being indignant.. him feeling victimised and lashing out will work if he is remotely a victim and not one in his la lal land..

Perfectly said. 👏

Hmmm true and here I think the mind has not been molded to be strong enough to take that choice. Many factors come to play I understand that. And it all depends on people around you whether you can exercise that choice. I know its easy to say that you have a choice so voice it. Many cant and many dont. Your mind has to be strong to do anything that would u want to do.

Even though circumstances come into play but I agree to this strongly Jiss. U dont open your mouth you will anyways never get what u want. Atleast take that chance and exercise your choice.

That particular situation was a bad case of DV. She was married off to this brute when she was 18 and 5 years of continuous physical, emotional, financial, immigration, and sexual abuse. Married her from some small village in India and brought her to Canada. She could barely speak proper Hindi let alone English and was totally isolated. Neighbors rang the cops as they heard her cry for three hours straight and cops brought her to shelter. It took years of therapy to help her. I am not sure what happened to her but I hope she is doing well.

You are right choice also means you want to exercise that choice - and I think if you believe in it then doesn’t matter what anyone else says or does. I guess some unfortunate can’t and some won’t.

God I didnt mean any thing big like it.i am dealing mainly with my husband who is one of the sweetest man alive wont let me go out by myself after 7 PM and I am living in the capital city of my state(and is a very sore point and a reason for our small arguments but he is adamant)

But he will accompany me if I seriously want to go out so it doesn't bother me much

And he is an equal partner in raising the kids(bathing ,putting the kids to bed and also take full responsibility of the kids if I want some me time) and will also lend me a hand with the household chores
