death of the army by gangster--related to army vests?

do you guys think that subedar's son's death has got to do with devraj's army vest? i'm thinking there could be some issue with his son's army vest which may have lead to him being a martyr...RIP to the son/captain as they said he was a brave officer and a proud son to a proud father...i wonder whether his death could be connected to devraj's army vests?

also, devraj wants to get imported material to gain profit and trust from the army soldiers without proper check for defects, etc...means he is desperate to gain the trust of the army via his dealings

The deal is still in process, he is still buying the raw materials.

This death has nothing to do with Devraj or his deal.

From what I gathered that scene was to add an emotional layer to Suman's character.

With all her discipline and tough aura, she may come off as uni-dimensional. This adds to vulnerability in her character.

I think the death was shown for the first emotional scene of both. He felt something while she was crying though he didn't react much after knowing that she was crying for an unknown person. 😆
