Ayushmann Khurrana is considered as among the top stars who has made his name coming from outside the industry. His journey from a video jockey to a well-known actor has inspired many. But there are several actors in Bollywood who are star kids and often get questioned on their ability by many.

In an interview with a leading daily, Ayushmann Khurrana expressed his views on nepotism in Bollywood. He said that star kids who are successful are genuinely talented. They get their first break but then they have to live up to a benchmark. He stated that he gives his 50 per cent and people says that he has have done it by himself. But if a star kids has a potential of 80 per cent and even if they give their 100 per cent, people are not satisfied.

Well he is right. Those star kids who succeeded so far have been celebrated actors/actresses. Eg HR, Ranbir, Alia.

Ofcourse. Sad that it actually had to be said.

Couldn't agree more. Nepo kids who are successful and survived are actually talented, HR, Ranbir, Alia, Kareena etc while the likes of Arjun, AB Jr, ARK, Sonakshi et al might be getting opportunities but nobody cares much about them. So many like Fardeen Khan, Tushar Kapoor, Uday Chopra, Zayed Khan, Harman Baweja and 100s have them have just faded away.

Nepo non nepo... eventually the successful ones last... or the successful ones are called "talented" because they are successful.

tbf, any successful person won't cry much about star kids, it is generally unsuccessful ones or those who without actual success b but massive , who sound resentful.

Kangu when she was at her peak of success, used to sound so polite, decent and sensible, and even used to defend star kids, award shows and so on.
