IK it's kinda lame but will new accounts get full access to the FF site? Like will they have any restriction in sharing links... or something of that sort?

Is there any option to make the library private? I personally haven't added anything to check, so I'm just curious.

If you keep your story in pending mode, it will be only available to you and not anyone else. You can edit it and all and then post it by changing the status to ongoing or completed.

can we see how many chapters a story has without opening it?

Yes. The table of content is available in the cover page only. But you would have to click on the story to see the cover page.
