He came to shoot in Kolkata. My friend and I contacted the PR and met him in his hotel. He was watching cricket when we reached 😆. We even took a list of the names of our then IF CC friends and took his autograph in it and posted the pic. Everyone went nuts !! 🤣

He was liked by everyone across ALL age groups.. my mum thought he was good looking as well!! 😂

I think back then, it used to look angsty because he’d regret it later and it would be followed by rabba ve.. but now I know better!

Now I appreciate a Rudra who is gentle and understanding.

I just checked the air date. I too was 21. I too didn't like the manhandling. But I shamelessly admit that I had a massive crush on Barun and I didn't care much. Neither was Khushi a pushover. Plus IPK humour was something else and actually funny unlike usual ITV. Specially even a character like mami had such humorous dialogues. Plus it didn't have a Ravan ka family with evil members. So all in all it was a win !

@bold- true.! me too.

Actually when we are teenagers, we like everything in lines of passion, mysteriousness, rebellious! But now at this age, maturity and understanding are the behaviors we see in a person. Thats why, we love Rudra so much. This guy has been shown as the best husband ever!❤️

But IPK for the times it was aired it was one of it's kind so it did well.. in shows during those times the Male lead never had much to do and shows were more included towards SaaS bahu and kitchen women dynamics than love stories .. so it was a welcome air of romance and they had good chemistry too which was an icing..

Then so many such shows came that we got bored..

I think Rudra is that welcome change to the new era A guy who has his morals right.. who loves and respects ppl around him and is not scared to call a spade a spade.. I dont know if they can recreate this lovely character else where into a good story again.. may be they should..
