To all saying Mini was lying about Babita

Manmeet case mein she did not want to make a FIR at first because Log kya kahege.. she made an FIR after remembering what HS said and also because college did not give Mini justice. Ye even I dont get it why people are saying that this whole sequence is just to glorify mini and insult babita.

First of all they are just not giving importance to such an important issue of child abuse they are just bashing the actors

Secondly mini said that she love babes to the core but she was weak as a mother that's something she hates about her. And with the way babita's character behaved just before the leap we all agree that she indeed was weak and society fearing person. She always needed mini's or HS support for standing up.

So what mini said was totally right.

I don’t see it as insulting babita, I see it as insulting the mindset of previous generations and what they were taught. Babita was the way she was, not because she CHOSE to be that way, she was that way because SHE WAS TAUGHT that that’s the right way to be. It’s not just babita, ashok was the same way. Preets mother is the same as is lovely dadu beeji etC. Just look at dadus reaction to what she said. There’s been a few people on here that have had a similar reaction when they told their parents. It’s not an insult to the parents because they didn’t know better. It’s an insult to tradition and how people are taught that no matter what happens (even if someone rapes you or your child) just keep quiet about it because of “what people will say” and “your reputation”.

I don’t see it as an insult to babita at all. It’s an insult to babitas (and her generation and generations before hers) WAY OF THINKING

I can totally see babita being the type of mother to keep quiet about abuse because of what people will say and minis reputation being ruined and future marriage proposals being ruined

There was nothing like this shown at all, have you seriously watched from the beginning at all.

There was no mention at all or even Lovely's brother in law.

All this is by KK,RS to glorify Poor hard done by Mini, it may be Aarya story now but of course the Queen bee Poor Mini has to take centre stage in this sudden abuse of poor Mini, but than again they will butcher Babita even more as she is the Villain in all of this right.

This is stupid and they need to end the show now.

Agree the babita who was living as khurana bahu waiting for ashok's return was a timid society fearing woman, she did not speak for herself it was mini who gave her strength to move out and start life afresh.

The initial version of babita living in khurana house was expected to make mini quiet about what happened, it was when she became independent she stood up to ashok and stopped him from meeting mini during the manmeet fiasco.

Also in initial season 1 episodes mini was desperate to talk to ashok I felt it was cause she finally is meeting him after years, may talk to him about moving to London with babita but you never know may be she wanted to tell him about this but was unable to do so as meeta came into the picture.

Babita started standing up to ashok AFTER she started living with HS.

You don’t tell me what to do and what not to. Mind your own business and do not I repeat do not ever reply to me or comment on my post.

But than of course Poor Mini is a good one to judge how good or bad a her Mother was, as She has vast experience of Mothering.

This is over the top glorifying of Poor Mini that has been in the show from the beginning and its something that RS and KK like showing and they will keep on butchering Babita to glorify Poor Mini that is not even funny anymore. They seriously need to end this show.

Yes Poor Mini is wrong and there have been various times where Babita was taking a stand but Poor Mini was telling her to keep quite.

Done with this silly serial now.

Its not worth it and for once the new fans of S2, need to watch PB from the beginning to see how a beautiful Show was butchered for 1 Actor.

I remember this babita first went to college to talk to the principal and she got to know about it because of the notice which HS gets and confronts mini about the same it was with HS's encouragement mini decided to tell babita about manmeet.

Dadu really disappointed me in yesterday’s episode. Just look at what his reaction was. He belongs to the “pretend that nothing happened” generation and this generation brought up children like babita who had the same mentality (until after her divorce where she learned a bit more that she does not have to be quiet and endure). Babita would have reacted exactly the same way and tried to keep the peace. Hell, the old babita didn’t even want mini to ask ashok to take them to London because she was afraid of upsetting him.

Mini was right to involve herself in nehas issue. If the man was allowed to continue he would have eventually done it to arya and then it would be too late to act.
