Love the post but I respectfully differ on the @ bold part. Even our Godesses are shown with sindoor or mangalsutra. It has symbolic meaning also and isn't just a "pleasure". In fact Ramayan has a section where Hanuman asks Sita Maa about the sindoor and she explains the meaning of it. Hanuman applies sindoor all over himself in honor of that meaning😳
