For all my issues with her, Why blame her? It's not like she has forged a certificate.

Suppose you are invited to an award ceremony and someone hands over a certificate to you, you post it on instagram and next day the award organisers say that it's fake. How's that YOUR fault?

But Sneha how do we know if what she's saying is true or just a made up story to hide from the embarrassment of having to own up to her blunder!

Things don't sound very legit from her end. Plus even if organizers awarded her off the stage, they would still have her listed amongst the winners! .... Why would the organizers ruin their credibility going after her if they knew it's a legit award?!

Let's even assume it's a middle man who scammed her. Even then onus is her to apologize for displaying a fake award even after organizers reached out to her!

There's definitely more of a masla on her end as far as I can see!

But if a middle man scammed her why should she apologize? She’s the victim in this case, even if she demanded certificate and he said ok I’ll do jugaad get you one then still she didn’t know it was fake. It’s obviously a dodgy thing but I feel the way they are attacking her maybe they should attack their coordinator who created this mess. Dislikes aside it’s just plain vendetta now from their end.

Firstly why would they have such "vendetta" against her?! Doesn't make much sense!

As for the theory, I have hard time believing it's some middle man scamming her. And if it is, she should have clarified when organizers reached out to her after she posted the pic. When she didn't respond that's when it got all public I believe?! ... So she should have apologized for not co-operating when they wanted the clarification from her!

It kind of sounds like a case of either scam which she's using it for her own publicity by playing the sympathy card OR she actually did forge it/bought the fake one willingly for some limelight! ... I don't know, both parties sound dodgy and not trustworthy! .... Let's see if there will be any more back and forth on the issue!
